He drove his truck across the southern border, that's all they needed (even though there are unconfrimed reports his vehicle had Texas plates). -
Ten Dead And Thirty Injured Last Night In New Orleans

https://x.com/onestpress/status/1874487644316402078 Statement from President Joe Biden I have been continually briefed since early this morning by federal law enforcement leadership and my homeland security team, including Secretary of Homeland Security Ali Mayorkas, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, White House Homeland Security Advisor Liz Sherwood-Randall, and the Mayor of New Orleans regarding the horrific incident that occurred there overnight. The FBI is taking the lead in the investigation and is investigating this incident as an act of terrorism. I am grateful for the brave and swift response of local law enforcement in preventing even greater death and injury. I have directed my team to ensure every resource is available as federal, state, and local law enforcement work assiduously to get to the bottom of what happened as quickly as possible and to ensure that there is no remaining threat of any kind. I will continue to receive updates throughout the day, and I will have more to say as we have further information to share. In the meantime, my heart goes out to the victims and their families who were simply trying to celebrate the holiday. There is no justification for violence of any kind, and we will not tolerate any attack on any of our nation's communities. -

I didn't have "DEI hire" on my Mass Casuality bingo card, but knowing this forum I should have figured that someone would work that into the discussion. -
As I suspected. SMH.

The fact that you support Trump's decision to do this speaks volumes about you and where you are coming from.
-
How do you know? Who can say?
-
So that some poor kid may have died in his place (whose daddy didn't bribe a doctor to falsify medical records).
-
Wisely? I wouldn't call someone who dodged the draft with a falsified medical condition (like bone spurs) wise. That is not to be praised or admired.
-
And to be consistent, make sure and call Ted Cruz "Rafael" cuz his momma named him that.
-
Yeah, and you would think conservatives and those on the right would agree that he should have the right to do that - although they were the most critical of his name change at the time (and some still are). Although the same folks today have no problem with the guy born James Donald Bowman calling himself J.D. Vance, go figure.

🇺🇸Father Trump Talk-🚨The Official Thread of MAGA🚨 It’s Go Time

Yes he is IMO, but he was found guilty of sexual assault and not rape (grabbing E. Jean Carroll by the was not considered rape by the court, although she would disagree). -
No he isn't, which is why I put him on ignore.

Arguably the best boxer who ever lived. He did not fight for nearly four years and lost a period of peak performance as an athlete due to his refusal to be drafted into the military, owing to his religious beliefs and ethical opposition to the Vietnam War. He was found guilty of draft evasion and stripped of his boxing titles. He stayed out of prison while appealing the decision to the Supreme Court, where his conviction was overturned in 1971. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ali

Really, because I would have to spend more time with you.

Better than living my life here.

I think Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch books are better than the Mickey Haller series (which is a Bosch spin off). The Bosch series are more Police Procedure type novels, while the Haller's would probably fall under the Legal Thriller category. Connelly has been phasing out the Bosch character, first having him retire and then called back to work as a volunteer with the "Cold Case" unit. The most recent Bosch books has him paired with LAPD Detective Renee Ballard solving cold cases for the most part, while dealing with a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

https://x.com/kylegriffin1/status/1873778637285273759 President Biden just announced the United States is sending nearly $2.5 billion in security assistance to Ukraine. The aid will include air defense, artillery, and other critical weapons systems.

Colorado man accused of attacking TV reporter, saying ‘This is Trump’s America now’
squistion replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
He was pursued for shooting an unarmed man then fleeing the scene of the crime to avoid being arrested (as evidenced by the fact he didn't turn himself in when later encountering the police, instead driving across state lines to his home). -

And there was an assault, no?
