Probably a good idea. I waited until it was announced that he had died, then I posted condolences from Trump and Kamala Harris and was attacked immediately by Hell Toupee for doing that.

It may have been your posts didn't sit well with the mods, but I did not report you as has been claimed. Dowd's comment didn't reflect well on MSNBC, which is why they immediately issued an apology even though he is a guest analyst and not an anchor.

And I thought you were banned.

It wasn't the MNSBC anchors, it was analyst Matthew Dowd. It was stupid and MSNBC apologized for it. AI Overview During a broadcast following the September 10, 2025, shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, MSNBC analyst Matthew Dowd suggested that the fatal shot may have come from one of Kirk's supporters firing a gun in celebration . The comment was widely condemned and led to a swift apology from MSNBC.

https://x.com/CAgovernor/status/1965899170579202144 Governor Gavin Newsom @CAgovernor We should all feel a deep sense of grief and outrage at the terrible violence that took place in Utah today. Charlie Kirk's murder is sick and reprehensible, and our thoughts are with his family, children, and loved ones. I knew Charlie, and I admired his passion and commitment to debate. His senseless murder is a reminder of how important it is for all of us, across the political spectrum, to foster genuine discourse on issues that deeply affect us all without resorting to political violence. The best way to honor Charlie's memory is to continue his work: engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse. In a democracy, ideas are tested through words and good-faith debate — never through violence. Honest disagreement makes us stronger; violence only drives us further apart and corrodes the values at the heart of this nation.

Forget what? What are you referring to that I've posted?

https://x.com/ProgramMaker/status/1965880198173471106 President Trump announced on social media that Charlie Kirk had died after being shot in the neck at an event in Utah. “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” the president wrote on Truth Social. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”

Harvard & Trump Thread: Harvard PREVAILS in its lawsuit against the Trump administration
squistion posted a topic in The Geek Club
https://www.cnbc.com/2025/04/14/trump-harvard-deal-funding-billion-dei.html Harvard has $2.2 billion in grants frozen by Trump administration after rejecting demands The Trump administration on Monday night said it was freezing $2.2 billion in grants to Harvard University over concerns about antisemitism on campus and other issues. The freeze was announced hours after Harvard flatly rejected demands by the Trump administration to eliminate its DEI programs and screen international students for ideological concerns, including antisemitism, putting nearly $9 billion in federal funding for the university at risk. “No government — regardless of which party is in power — should dictate what private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and inquiry they can pursue,” Harvard President Alan Garber wrote in a note to the university community detailing his reasons for not complying with the demands. “Although some of the demands outlined by the government are aimed at combating antisemitism, the majority represent direct governmental regulation of the ‘intellectual conditions’ at Harvard,” Garber said. The U.S. General Services Administration and Department of Education responded with a statement detailing the freeze of $2.2 billion in multi-year grants and $60 million in multi-year contract value to Harvard. “Harvard’s statement today reinforces the troubling entitlement mindset that is endemic in our nation’s most prestigious universities and colleges – that federal investment does not come with the responsibility to uphold civil rights laws,” the federal agencies said. “The disruption of learning that has plagued campuses in recent years is unacceptable. The harassment of Jewish students is intolerable,” the agencies said. “It is time for elite universities to take the problem seriously and commit to meaningful change if they wish to continue receiving taxpayer support.” [...] -

Over a period of years, yes (certainly after 50+ years) And I am not certain this was part of his "fundamental beliefs." Markos Moulitsas, founder of the liberal site Daily Kos, wrote a letter to the editor of his college newspaper when he was a freshman, speaking out against allowing gays in the military (under "Don't ask don't tell"). I am sure he changed his viewpoint on that decades ago and does not hold that position today. -

No, I think mostly from Trump who urged Cracker Barrel to "go back to the old logo".
