Biden’s plan for Supreme Court reform
squistion replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Not true, she worked as an associate in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Williams & Connolly, LLP, from 1989-1991. -
And it will never change that they will insult you all day long (or me either, which is one of the reasons I have about a dozen of the usual suspects on ignore )

Is there any proof at all that rhetoric by Democrats caused this murder? No, there is none.

That Kamala and her husband are responsible for? Please.

From FBG's staffer in response to Butker tweet. https://x.com/Andrew_Garda/status/1817203649275396605 How do I go back in time to when nobody outside of KC knew who you were? -
Fun Fact: One Nation Under God was not part of the original pledge as written but was added during the Eisenhower administration as a response to Communism.

No link and no proof this even happened.

Indeed. Of all things the Opening Ceremony of The Olympics...seriously. -
What did Trump mean when he told Christians: "In four years, you won’t have to vote again"?
squistion replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
Um, no. No one thinks what Maxine said and what Trump just said about not having to vote again are the same thing. No one. -
They aren't.

Why would he want to stop enriching himself (or his family) after just 4 years? He is not going to give up a license to print money (so to speak). -

That is all he's got and it's like the third time he has said that. -

It would be if Trump or whoever is POTUS called it an official act, as according to SCOTUS the President has absolute immunity. Recall that Trump's attorneys argued that a President could order SEAL Team 6 to kill a political rival and face no criminal consequences. https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4398223-trump-team-argues-assassination-of-rivals-is-covered-by-presidential-immunity/ Trump team argues assassination of rivals is covered by presidential immunity Former President Trump’s legal team suggested Tuesday that even a president directing SEAL Team Six to kill a political opponent would be an action barred from prosecution given a former executive’s broad immunity to criminal prosecution. The hypothetical was presented to Trump attorney John Sauer who answered with a “qualified yes” that a former president would be immune from prosecution on that matter or even on selling pardons. -

Yes, they did. Please read the SCOTUS opinion that put the President above the law for his (or her) actions while being POTUS. -

Who's going to stop him if he suspends the 2028 elections? Not the Senate or a Republican controlled house. Probably not SCOTUS who put the actions of POTUS above the law. -

I don't think so because he was saying this in 2019: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-says-supporters-might-demand-that-he-serve-more-than-two-terms-as-president/2019/06/16/4b6b9ae2-9041-11e9-b570-6416efdc0803_story.html Trump says supporters might ‘demand’ that he serve more than two terms as president President Trump on Sunday floated the possibility of staying in office longer than two terms, suggesting in a morning tweet that his supporters might “demand that I stay longer.” The president, who will kick off his reelection campaign on Tuesday with an event in Orlando, has previously joked about serving more than two terms, including at an event in April, when he told a crowd that he might remain in the Oval Office “at least for 10 or 14 years.” -
A painting yes, but it was clearly The Last Supper.

Speaking for myself, I had no problem with the title as it expressed no bias or point-of-view towards Kamala. I was about to do the same exact thread title myself, but you got the jump on me.

The unprecedented call-and-response with Republicans was not from a teleprompter nor scripted.

I saw the entire 90-minute State Of The Union address and with the exception of one flubbed line, he aced it. My eyes weren't lying, I know what I saw.

If dementia makes you taller, then Trump should soon be about the same height at Barron.

No, liberals didn't allow this to happen.
