About effing time…Ukraine to fall by end 2024

Hold off on thinking Ukraine will fall by the end of this year.
  2. Meh. I seriously doubt that any child, after seeing a drag queen reading a story to them in a library, would think that being a drag queen is "normal" It does "normalize" it to the extent that it shows that drag queens do actually exist in the world.
  3. A drag queen reading a story to children in a library does not sexualize kids. Please.
  4. Yes, they have to present a theory of the case before trial. Sheesh.
  5. As long as we are dropping photos of Presidents with infamous people:
  6. He posted it himself on line hours before he set himself on fire. So it was already out there and not released by authorities.
  7. They prosecution does not have to present its case before the trial itself begins. Of course they will connect it all up.
  8. The trial should be cancelled because someone set themselves on fire outside of the court house during the trial? If you think so, that is what is really SAD.
  9. Don't anyone hold their breath waiting for that one.
  10. Why, this happened outside the court house.
  11. It must not make a difference legally under New York law that the statute of limitations on the misdemeanor has run, because if it had, Trump's attorneys would have moved for a summary judgement and that would have been granted.
  12. Like anyone here would be dumb enough to think it was a real story...oh, wait...
  13. Which is what the prosecution alleges (although I know it has to used be in commission of another crime, I do not know if that crime has to be a felony).
  14. jonny, falsifying business records is a crime in New York, although by itself it is just a misdemeanor. To elevate it to a felony, it must be combined with another crime, which the prosecution will try to prove here.
  15. https://twitter.com/NotHoodlum/status/1781384734121054673 JUST IN: Judge Juan Merchan doubles his gag order. “While it is Mr. Trump’s right to sleep through his trial, his snoring and farting will not be tolerated. Jurors and court personnel have the right to a noxious-free environment.”
  16. Yes, the smell was so bad that Judge Merchan declared a 15 minute recess to restore odor.
  17. Well, yeah since he reimbursed Michael Cohen for the hush money payments (which he wouldnt logically do if he hadn't ordered it).
  18. First-degree falsifying business records (34 counts). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosecution_of_Donald_Trump_in_New_York The indictment charged Trump with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records[clarification needed] in the first degree, in violation of New York Penal Law §175.10. Each count is related to a specific business document, each having a date ranging from February 14 through December 5, 2017:[7] 11 for invoices from Michael Cohen 9 for general ledger entries for Donald J. Trump 3 for general ledger entries for the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust 8 for checks from Donald J. Trump 2 for checks from the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust The allegedly falsified documents are related to Trump's payment to Stormy Daniels as hush money. The payments were listed in the business records as a legal expense payable to Michael Cohen, whereas the indictment alleges that they were actually to reimburse Cohen for the earlier, allegedly illicit, payment to Daniels.[91][92] Falsifying business records in the first degree is a felony under New York state law that requires that the "intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof". This is in contrast to falsifying business records in the second degree, which is a misdemeanor that does not have that requirement.[7][91][92] In later filings, Bragg listed three such crimes that Trump allegedly intended to commit: violation of federal campaign finance limits, violation of state election laws by unlawfully influencing the 2016 election, and violation of state tax laws regarding the reimbursement.[93] Trump can move to allow the jury the option to convict on the misdemeanor charges as a lesser included offense, but is not required to do so.[94]
  19. Dude, it doesn't matter that it didn't happen. That is not what this trial is about. He is not on trial for having sexual relations with her or paying her hush money to keep quiet about it.
