League Champion was suspended a couple times for about a month and then came back, so I expect he will be returning shortly. Blue Horseshoe may have gone to that great stable in the sky. He must have spent literally 6 to 8 hours a day just finding the quotes and links used in his posts. He apparently didn't have anything else to do with time and I doubt that he would just stop unless something happened to him.

No. What happened is Joe's Republican friends (after Trump got elected) complained to him that the forum was not a hospital place for them and that they didn't feel welcome (of course that's because in defending Trump and GOP policies is often defending the indefensible). So, to balance things out, Joe and mods cracked down on liberal posters, suspending them for things that they looked the other way with for Trump supporters (such as allowing insults, much like you see here). In addition, the Trump threads were treated as a kind of safe space, to the point that posts critical of Trump and Republicans were routinely deleted by mods, yet similar posts critical of Biden, Pelosi, Harris, etc., were allowed to stand.

I haven't used the report button in this forum once. And what would be the point? Everything, no matter how far beyond the pale, seems to be allowed here by the mods (I honestly can't imagine what one would have to do to get suspended or a thread shut down).

Actually, I didn't, and I was one of those on the left who (unlike Tim) was telling Joe not to shut the forum down because politics can still bleed into almost any discussion. And I was proved right as the moderators there have been playing Whac-A-Mole since then, futilely trying to keep any and all political related discussion out.

If anything gets this forum shut down it will be the OP flooding the board with threads (15 to my count on page 1) plus spamming multiple threads with the same YouTube videos that quite often are completely unrelated to the thread topic or any discussion in it.

He can't just put it aside. He is either going to have pay up now (at trial's conclusion) or post a bond to cover the amount to pay Carroll in full, if he loses on appeal. He can't escape payment by using his normal appeal delaying tactics.
