  1. It did. I'd try to find an article with social workers or whoever worked with the separated kids talking about it, but I am sure you wouldn't admit you were wrong. And yes, it was different than the Obama policy.

    More grooming from the right

There is a difference between actually pleading guilty to sexual abuse of children and never having been charged with it.
  3. Yes, toddlers being pulled from their mother's arms and screaming does seem mean. Just sayin'

I don't agree and I would assume other liberals/progressives on this forum would agree.
  5. Do you mean when Obama separated 3900 children from their parents, including crying toddlers? Oh, wait...that was Trump. https://apnews.com/article/az-state-wire-donald-trump-immigration-lifestyle-government-and-politics-54e2e5bbff270019d8bda3c81161c7c7 US identifies 3,900 children separated at border under Trump SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Biden administration said Tuesday that it has identified more than 3,900 children separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border under former President Donald Trump’s “zero-tolerance” policy on illegal crossings, providing one of the more detailed accounts of a chapter in U.S. immigration history that drew widespread condemnation. The Biden administration’s Family Reunification Task Force count of 3,913 children separated from July 1, 2017, to the end of Trump’s presidency is well below the more than 5,500 children identified by the American Civil Liberties Union in court filings, based on government information. The task force said it identified “nearly all” children who were separated under the zero-tolerance policy but will review another 1,723 cases since July 2017, which would bring total cases examined to 5,636, close to the ACLU tally. The discrepancy appears to stem largely from a federal court ruling in San Diego that excluded 1,723 children who were separated for reasons other than Trump’s zero-tolerance policy, such as risk of child endangerment or questions about parentage.

I got a promotion! Used to be just a liberal bot.
  7. If elected, he probably will do that, along with most of the other anchors at MSNBC.

IIRC he was a legacy admission (an affirmative action program of sorts) and probably wouldn't have met the academic standards for admission if not for that.

I haven't read it, but the LGBTQ community overall thinks highly of it (of those who have reviewed it) and online comments that I've seen from gay/lesbian teens have also been overwhelmingly favorable.

He has always been this annoyingly pedantic.

I love how the truth, which you have not been able to logically refute here, embarrasses you.

It is embarrassing that Rachel Maddow and Jonathan Capehart (both of whom are openly gay/lesbian) obviously don't consider Reid anti-gay or homophobic?

As I posted in another thread a month or two back (can't find it in a search) the author of Gender Queer said it should be age restricted to High School kids and is not for ages below that. Also she pointed out that the book has not been made part of any school curriculum outside of being available to HS to read if they wish.
  14. He only needs one if he declares himself dictator.
  15. There literally would be thousands of due process violations under The Constitution if that were done, but the current SCOTUS might go along with it (The WW2 internment of Japanese citizens born in the US was clearly illegal but SCOTUS let it stand).

Good riddance. We can use more space here.
