What was their mistake? White recruitment is probably down because the military is seen as a poor career choice, not a result of DEI or spending to increase diversity. Minority recruitment has increased because many feel they still face discrimination in the private sector, and this will give them a leg up (so to speak) when they enter the job market after their term of service has ended (plus I believe there are perks, like money towards a college education).

They didn't lie. Like Trump and his lawyers they apparently didn't know the laws in NY Courts of Equity either. The spin is the truth, Trump could not have had a jury trial even if he asked for one, so he should stop lying about Engoron being "unfair"

The DA had the right to seek equitable relief and the judge had no discretion in the matter. Trump's lawyers should explain to him that a jury trial is not allowed when "equitable relief" is sought, so he doesn't continue to look foolish with his ignorant rants about how unfair Engoron is.

Trump agreed not to have a jury trial. There is a box he neglected to check in the court papers (you can find it online) where he could have asked for a jury trial. He chose not to. If he really was innocent as you claim he should have gone before a jury. But he opted not to.
