Boston Hospital Will Now Ignore Infants Born With Drugs in Their System
squistion replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
But not doing routine drug testing is not ignoring these infants and not treating them at all as the thread title misleadingly suggests. -

Right. Limiting drug testing is not ignoring infants and not treating them at all as the thread title wrongfully suggests. -
Boston Hospital Will Now Ignore Infants Born With Drugs in Their System
squistion replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
Thread title is incorrect that "Boston Hospital Will Now Ignore Infants Born With Drugs in Their System" That makes it sound like the infants won't be treated at all. The change has to do with what is being reported to the state. -

No, Tim. The customer doesn't make their own pizza, but they do custom order the ingredients on it, which is not the same thing. -

You aren't but the mods (or mod) should restrict the flooding of this board every day with multiple trans-bashing threads in which the only purpose is to stir up LGBTQ hatred. -

Maximum Overkill, aka League Champion, just can't help himself. And weird thread title, as aren't all victims of mass shootings considered "innocent normal people"? -

About "Gays Against Groomers" https://www.advocate.com/news/gays-against-groomers-exposed Gays Against Groomers Is Not a Grassroots Organization: Report A new report pulls aside the curtain and reveals the background of those working to spread anti-LGBTQ+ hatred using the hate account Gays Against Groomers. The founder of Gays Against Groomers, Jaimee Michell, and her partners are former ultra-MAGA Trump followers who spread anti-transgender propaganda with QAnon conspiracy theories and links to extremist militias, according to a Media Matters for America investigation published last week. In response to accusations that it spreads homophobia and transphobia, GAG claims that, as a âcoalition of gay people,â it and its members cannot possibly spread anti-LGBTQ+ propaganda. Furthermore, they claim that any attack on the group is homophobic. However, GAG is not a grassroots initiative but a right-wing project seeking to gain political and financial advantage by using anti-trans rhetoric, according to the left-leaning media watchdog. GAG was formed last year âto protect the kidsâ from âsexualization, indoctrination, and medicalization,â Michell claims, and it has gained prestige in right-wing circles along with Chaiya Raichikâs Libs of TikTok, which also attacks the LGBTQ+ community. Both have promoted the use of the anti-LGBTQ+ slur âgroomer.â Media Matters found that GAG isnât Michell's first venture in far-right social media circles. She was a prolific MAGA Twitter user in 2016 and 2017, often peddling QAnon conspiracy theories. During the 2020 election cycle, she frequently corresponded with Ali Alexander, the âStop the Stealâ founder. During a "Stop the Steal" rally in November of that year in Washington, D.C., Michell claimed the presidential election had been stolen. Michell was listed as a contact for the Wisconsin "Stop the Steal" rally using the online alias âTheGayWhoStrayd.â During the January 6 insurrection, Michell posted support for the rioters on Instagram and Telegram, including reposting extremist Milo Yiannopoulosâs content. Michell has engaged in continuous right-wing grievance culture online, complaining about everything from mitigation measures surrounding the global pandemic to mocking the killing of George Floyd, Media Matters reports. Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?

He also said in the same speech to that crowd: https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-trump-us-capitol-remarks-221518bc174f9bc3dd6e108e653ed08d AP FACT CHECK: Trumpâs call to action distorted in debate THE FACTS: Trumpâs speech was a call to action â a call to fight and save the country. âOur country has had enough,â he told those who went on to stage the violent siege of the Capitol. âWe will not take it anymore and thatâs what this is all about. To use a favorite term that all of you people really came up with, we will stop the steal.â â âWe fight like hell and if you donât fight like hell, youâre not going to have a country anymore.â â âWe want to go back, and we want to get this right because weâre going to have somebody in there that should not be in there and our country will be destroyed, and weâre not going to stand for that.â â âNobody knows what the hell is going on. Thereâs never been anything like this. We will not let them silence your voices. Weâre not going to let it happen. Not going to let it happen.â The crowd repeatedly chanted âFight for Trump!â âThank you,â Trump said. He assailed âweak,â âpatheticâ Republicans who were not standing with him in his push to overturn the election results, and said âthereâd be hell all over the countryâ if Democrats had been robbed of an election win. [...] âSo letâs walk down Pennsylvania Avenue,â he concluded after more than an hour. He didnât walk, but they did, bearing Trump flags, overwhelming police and occupying the Capitol in an hours-long melee that left five people dead and exposed Trump to the impeachment charge of inciting an insurrection. -

I understand there is obviously something else going on with this company that resulted in the closure of 22 stores in other states (that was not related to the $20 an hour minimum wage) ant that you have been unable to explain. -

Another fast food place closes in CA same day as minimum wage goes to $20
squistion replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
All you ensured was that you would get asked some logical questions you can't seem to answer, like: Why are the other 53 locations in California remaining open despite the oppressive wage increase? What was behind the closure of the 22 stores in other states? (Hint: not a $20 an hour minimum wage). -
I live in Southern California and see people bringing their own bags all the time to the market (I always bring my own bags).

What caused the 22 restaurants to close in the other states? Obviously not the $20 an hour minimum wage (so the wages may just be a convenient excuse to mask bad corporate decisions, like maybe choosing bad locations). And Mod Pizza has 58 total restaurants in California, so the other 53 apparently are profitable enough to keep open despite this oppressive wage increase. https://www.scrapehero.com/location-reports/Modpizza-USA/ -
Meh.

Did you know? Hitlery started "Fake News" - Not Drumpf
squistion replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
No, it wasn't either Hillary or Trump (who claims he coined the term) It was Craig Silverman: https://www.washingtonian.com/2019/10/02/trump-claims-he-invented-the-term-fake-news-an-interview-with-the-guy-who-actually-helped-popularize-it/ Trump Claims He Invented the Term âFake NewsââHereâ s an Interview With the Guy Who Actually Helped Popularize It During a press conference alongside Finnish President Sauli Niinistö Wednesday, President Trump took credit for inventing the term âfake newsâ: âI donât even use fake anymore,â he said. âI call the fake news now corrupt news because fake isnât tough enough. And Iâm the one that came up with the termâIâm very proud of it, but I think Iâm gonna switch it to corrupt news.â ThatâsâŠwhatâs a good term for news that isnât realâŠwell, anyway, BuzzFeed News media editor Craig Silverman was in fact the person who popularized the term âfake newsâ before Trump got his greasy paws on it. Silverman first started using it in 2014 while he was running a research project at Columbia Universityâs Tow Center for Digital Journalism and later made it a big part of his beat when he moved to BuzzFeed in 2015.
