I don't think any verbal assault probably warrants an intervention (if that's what it was as I don't believe it was directed against any one specific person).

Once again, Neely did not assault anyone. Penny decided to act as a vigilante and take the law into his own hands by using a chokehold that most police departments in this country have discontinued the use of, because it often results in a death (like it did here).

This suit does have merit. It is discriminatory based on race and North Central University should have known better. That said, a privately funded "George Floyd Memorial Scholarship" not connected with the University could be set up for black students only and that would not be a violation of the Civil Rights Act.
