I would think her state of mind is probably relevant to her accepting the hush money payment. -

https://twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/1787834799190622451 This morning at 7:31, Trump ripped Judge Merchan online — before it was public that Stormy Daniels would be testifying — saying, "I have just recently been told who the witness is today. This is unprecedented … No Judge has ever run a trial in such a biased and partisan way." After about 20 minutes, the post was deleted. -

You would think he now would be shamed into attending Barron's graduation after the fuss he made over the judge denying his request (which was a lie). But as we all know, Trump is incapable of the emotion of shame. -

https://twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/1787571806045434160 The Trump Org.'s accounts payable supervisor, Deborah Tarasoff, says legal expenses above $10,000 at the company could ONLY be approved by Trump himself, Don Jr. or Eric. This matters because each hush money repayment to Michael Cohen far exceeded $10,000 — each was $35,000. @MSNBC -

https://twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/1787509029582799140 Ex-Trump Org. controller Jeff McConney says that one of the repayment checks to Michael Cohen had gotten lost while being sent between the Trump Org. and the White House for Trump's signature. Checks had to be sent from the company to the White House for Trump to sign each of them before they were issued. -

https://twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/1787495104896282775 Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo asks if bookkeeping notes show that Michael Cohen was receiving $360,000 back on a $180,000 expense. Ex-Trump Org. controller Jeff McConney said that was accurate. Asked if he is aware of another instance where an expense reimbursement was doubled to account for taxes, McConney said he isn't. -

https://twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/1787490038185439666 Ex-Trump Org. controller Jeff McConney recalls when Trump almost fired him early on into their working relationship because McConney was paying Trump's bills without negotiating them. Trump instructed McConney to not simply pay bills blindly but to negotiate them at all times. McConney's recollection is significant because the DA's office is trying to show that Cohen's invoices were not paid reflexively; rather, all payments had to be supported by an invoice and negotiation was expected — not an exception to the rule. -

https://twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/1787480093964583412 Judge Merchan, finding Trump violated his gag order a 10th time: "It appears that the $1,000 fines are not serving as a deterrent." "The last thing I want to do is to put you in jail. You are the former president of the United States, and possibly the next president as well. There are many reasons why incarceration is truly a last resort for you." "At the end of the day, I have a job to do." “As much as I do not want to propose a jail sanction," he continued. " I will, if necessary. -
Hope there will be some consequences and this is not just for show. https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/04/us/mississippi-campus-protest-gaza-black-student/index.html University of Mississippi opens student conduct probe after confrontation between Black student and counterprotesters The University of Mississippi has opened a student conduct investigation after actions of “hostility and racist overtones” were portrayed during a demonstration on campus. The incident unfolded Thursday on the school’s campus during a heated exchange between a group of pro-Palestinian protesters and a much larger group of counterprotesters. About 30 pro-Palestinian protesters were demonstrating in a barricaded zone when they were surrounded by an estimated 200 counterprotesters, some holding American flags, several Trump flags and some dressed in red, white, and blue. While there are multiple videos circulating online showing the protest at varying times, one video in particular shows a group of mostly young white men in the counterprotest yelling at a Black woman, at least one counterprotester is seen on video making what appears to be monkey gestures at the woman, although CNN has not confirmed that is the case, as she records the group on her phone. Jaylin R. Smith, 24, confirmed to CNN she is the woman seen in the video. “One thing that will never break me is people taunting me or making monkey noises at me,” the journalism and new media graduate student told CNN on Friday. The video viewed by CNN shows a large group of counterprotesters yelling at Smith as she walks toward them while holding her phone. Law enforcement appeared to be telling her to “go back” to where other pro-Palestinian protesters were rallying. Smith is heard in the video saying, “I’m not so peaceful” repeatedly as police usher her away from the counterprotesters. [...]

They did. One of those who most prominent in the photos was from The University of Nevada, Reno, and his name went viral at the time after people identified him.

Yes, only a Biden voter would do this. Trump voters just kill puppies. -
And the right will probably make him some sort of hero, like they did with Nick Sandmann (who violated the personal space of and stared at the Native American to intimidate him.)

Steven Seagal's films aren't that good, but some individual scenes are classics, like at the restaurant in Glimmer Man:
