It has ratings wise and has made lots of bucks for MSNBC compared to who or what was in that time slot before (that no one can remember including me).

Timmy’s thread for general discussion
squistion replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Tim - You should probably periodically update the thread title to reflect the current discussion (space permitting). This is similar to your failed thread you had on the PSF where people had no idea what was being discussed and then had to scroll backwards to try and figure out what is now being talked about (which wasn't always that obvious). Just a suggestion. -
Fair enough. And Joe Scarborough was a ex-Republican Congressman who was originally hired by the network to bring some "balance"
-
Has MSNBC ever said or suggested that they "represent all voices" or any other voice outside of the liberal left? No. they never have. McDaniel was a bad hire for MSNBC and made as much sense if Fox had hired Keith Olbermann.

They don't. It's just gives them another opportunity to bash black folks (and show their racism).

Mexican president says the 'flow of migrants will continue' unless the US meets his demands

No, the left hates hearing such self-righteousness from a leader of a country that is as corrupt and poverty stricken as Mexico. -

https://seattlemedium.com/donald-trump-spent-almost-a-year-playing-golf-during-presidency/ Donald Trump Spent Almost A Year Playing Golf During Presidency President Donald Trump has spent 307 days, almost a full year, golfing during his presidency. The total is likely to be the most golf outings of any president in history. Additionally, Trump is likely to be collectively viewed by historians as one of the worst presidents in American history. Almost a year of time spent on golf courses was punctuated recently as December became the worst month for deaths and infections in the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. Many in conservative media made a point of mentioning time spent playing golf by President Obama. But Trump has now far surpassed Obama and any other President in time spent on golf courses. -

https://www.tampabay.com/archive/1994/03/27/some-names-are-uniquely-african-american/ Some names are uniquely African-American In Tangerae Michelle Dean's wallet are the images she treasures the most. There's 6-year-old Takara Niemah Starkese, her eldest. "She's a sweetheart," the St. Petersburg mother says. And there are photos of Takayla Niree-Shaneke, 4, and Travontez De- juan, 2. These children, she says, are far too pretty, far too beautiful for ordinary names. "When a child is pretty like my kids . . . you've got to give them pretty names. I didn't want any common name. I love beautiful names." A growing number of today's young black parents share Ms. Dean's sentiments. These moms and dads are giving their offspring original names that reflect the parents' ideas of uniqueness and beauty. Some experts think the practice is a statement of cultural identity and pride. Parents say newfangled names help fuse a new generation to its roots. Mothers like Ms. Dean, 22, say relatives and friends helped come up with the unusual names, many of which are creatively amalgamated from those of family members. Today's name creation among a younger generation of black people appears to be an evolution from authentic African and Muslim names that were bestowed on many children during the civil rights movement. "More emphasis on Afrocentrism makes for more creativity or even the making up of names," says Dr. Alvin F. Poussaint, professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and co-author of Raising Black Children. "There is more and more comfort in moving away from standard names like Mary and Jane. . . . Parents think they sound more beautiful, and they add uniqueness to the child."

Occasional? He played just about every day when he was POTUS. -
No. Black couples often use made up "unique" names for their children. It is a part of black culture in the country.

Would prefer a 3 day weekend to playing golf every day. -
