  1. This is rich. Aaron Rodgers, one of the least private NFL player, who seems to have gone out of way to call attention to himself, is now complaining about people trying to invade his privacy.
  2. Speaking of polls (or poles if you prefer). https://x.com/kylegriffin1/status/1937565190934921571 Polling on the GOP budget bill: Fox: 38% favorable, 59% unfavorable Quinnipiac: 27% favorable, 53% unfavorable KFF: 35% favorable, 64% unfavorable Pew: 29% favorable, 49% unfavorable WaPo: 23% favorable, 42% unfavorable
  3. https://x.com/grantstern/status/1937525871994191924 Wars go better when the head of one country screams that every other country in the war "doesn't know what the F-bomb they're doing" on the White House lawn.
  4. Quit repeating that lie. Fact checking sites have debunked that.
  5. And an observation that is true. Take a look sometime at Page 1 of this forum and one will find that jybcho/seafoam are always the last one to post in multiple threads (sometimes over a dozen). I wouldn't mind if he actually had something worthwhile to say or add, but he never does (just juvenile name calling and emojis).
  6. They can say "gay" again! https://apnews.com/article/florida-dont-say-gay-bill-settlement-987904b3e19122d719cf468034746b6e Florida teachers can discuss sexual orientation and gender ID under ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill settlement ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Students and teachers can discuss sexual orientation and gender identity in Florida classrooms, provided it’s not part of instruction, under a settlement reached Monday between Florida education officials and civil rights attorneys who had challenged a state law which critics dubbed “Don’t Say Gay.” The settlement clarifies what is allowed in Florida classrooms following passage two years ago of the law prohibiting instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in early grades. Opponents said the law had created confusion about whether teachers could identity themselves as LGBTQ+ or if they even could have rainbow stickers in classrooms. Other states used the Florida law as a template to pass prohibitions on classroom instruction on gender identity or sexual orientation. Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky and North Carolina are among the states with versions of the law. Under the terms of the settlement, the Florida Board of Education will send instructions to every school district saying the Florida law doesn’t prohibit discussing LGBTQ+ people, nor prevent anti-bullying rules on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity or disallow Gay-Straight Alliance groups. The settlement also spells out that the law is neutral — meaning what applies to LGBTQ+ people also applies to heterosexual people — and that it doesn’t apply to library books not being used for instruction in the classroom. The law also doesn’t apply to books with incidental references to LGBTQ+ characters or same-sex couples, “as they are not instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity any more than a math problem asking students to add bushels of apples is instruction on apple farming,” according to the settlement. “What this settlement does, is, it re-establishes the fundamental principal, that I hope all Americans agree with, which is every kid in this country is entitled to an education at a public school where they feel safe, their dignity is respected and where their families and parents are welcomed,” Roberta Kaplan, the lead attorney for the plaintiffs, said in an interview. “This shouldn’t be a controversial thing.”

  8. Is this what people who elected him voted for? https://www.npr.org/2025/06/21/nx-s1-5441127/iran-us-strike-nuclear-trump U.S. completes strikes on Iran nuclear sites, Trump says The U.S. military has joined with Israel to launch military strikes against Iran, a dramatic escalation in the years-long effort by both nations to prevent Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. "We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan," President Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday. "All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter." Trump said in a subsequent post that he would address the nation at 10 p.m. ET.

    L.A. ICE raids/protests thread

    Link to this preposterous claim?
  10. Not based on any reports.
  11. Of course neither the OP nor anyone else tries to explain the rainbow flag connection here (which he uses in every anti-LGBTQ and an anti-trans thread he starts).
  12. I don't know. It may be irrelevant if ICE can detain him again for whatever reason.
  13. OK, then definitely a liberal...oh, wait...
  14. Why is there a rainbow flag in the thread title? There is no alleged LGBTQ connection to the anti-ICE protests.
  15. We can be assured if the shooter is not shown to be a liberal, the OP will change the thread title to reflect that.
  16. No, it was Trump's ICE immigration raids that caused the protests, which are responsible for costing the taxpayers the $32 million.
