https://www.newsweek.com/jack-smith-special-counsel-donald-trump-doj-probe-10897001 Jack Smith Faces New DOJ Scrutiny Former special counsel Jack Smith has been formally referred to the Department of Justice’s Office of Professional Responsibility and two state bar panels for potential misconduct and disbarment, following revelations that his team secretly obtained phone metadata from nine Republican lawmakers during the Biden administration’s investigation into 2020 election interference, the New York Post first reported. In a letter sent Friday to Attorney General Pam Bondi, led by Republican Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, GOP lawmakers accused Smith of violating constitutional protections by subpoenaing telecom companies for call logs, including time, duration, recipient, and location, without clear legal justification. Newsweek reached out to Blackburn's office via contact form and Smith's attorney via email for comment on Friday afternoon. The Department of Justice declined to comment.

Re: The Oscars supposedly glorifying prostitution. AI Overview The 2025 Oscars did not glorify prostitution, but the film Anora, which won Best Picture, is about a sex worker, and the director and some award winners thanked the sex worker community in their speeches, sparking debate. Some critics argue the film glamorized or fetishized the sex trade, while others believe it accurately portrayed certain aspects, and opinions within the sex worker community were divided. -

It shouldn't, for instance, if you said you had an "oriental rug" that should be acceptable, as should a food dish with that word. -

My favorite song of his off his 1978 solo album, which was a cover of the UK Glam Rock band Hello, first done in 1975.

He has this weird obsession with me for some reason (as evidenced by the half dozen threads he has started that names me, including, until recently, his "Father Trump" thread). -

I have never heard of E 2.0 so I am not being humble. -
And to my understanding, the judge was literally following what the sentencing guidelines for a minor suggest.

The thread about the racist young Republicans praising Hitler, etc., on a social media site also disappeared.

https://x.com/krassenstein/status/1978519159039525318 Brian Krassenstein @krassenstein As you all get outraged over judge Kendra Briggs giving probation and NO jail time to the teens responsible for assaulting DOGE employee "Big Balls," note that the suspects were minors (only 15 years old) and only approximately 8-15% of such crimes by minors result in prison time.

Maybe Mike Johnson was out of the country, or has serious memory issues.

MOSTLY PEACEFUL riot erupts in Chicago after ICE vehicle gets rammed
squistion replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
He never can, he did that before with the ICE protests in L.A. He kept claiming he was viewing fires, looting, rioting ,etc., but wouldn't provide any link to prove it. Same thing here I'm sure. He is making it all up, the link does not exist. -

How can they keep saying these folks were non violent when there are numerous videos and photos of them attacking Capitol Police officers with a variety of weapons? -
AMPHIFA: Amphibians Against Fascism

Exactly, as if berating a Capitol Police officer is the same as bashing them with a club, flagpole, fire extinguisher or using bear spray.

Was he out of the country when the Jan 6 insurrection or riot happened?

The bolded is the crux of these protests/marches. Trump said he was going to be a dictator just on day one, but he has acted like one every day after that and it keeps getting worse.
