I would like to see more moderation, particularly with the vile name calling we see here that has to discourage newcomers from partcipating and staying this forum (along with racism and homophobia/transphobia).

I think Joe realizes, in retrospect, that closing the PSF was a big mistake as they lost a lot of long time posters who also contributed in other forums. Overall traffic on the site has decreased significantly IMO since that happened (perhaps it would have anyway due to less interest in FF).
