Sorry, but I don't recall any black folks complaining that about the 19th being "completely overshadowed" by Pride Month last year and it won't happen this year either. It will still get plenty of attention. I really don't get this thinking that Pride Month and Men's Health Month or Pride Month and the 19th are somehow mutually exclusive.

That is completely wrong. Every day of June is part of Pride Month with no special 'trans only" day. And FYI, June 19th is observed as Juneteenth, a day commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

That is what is such a weird disconnect among Republicans and the MAGA crowd. While there are a few here that have expressed disapproval with the luxury jet and the other gifts/deals, they are a distinct minority. Most have no problem with open bribery but somehow Harvard accepting foreign students is not acceptable.

The two are not mutually exclusive. I think this country has the ability to celebrate both in June.

I have yet to report anyone since I returned to this forum 2-3 years ago after over a decade's absence. Yes, I have people on ignore but they are the same folks who in every thread, kept insulting me with the same lies and vile name calling. Why should I subject myself to that crap when it is completely irrelevant to what is being discussed? I told Tim Schochet to use the ignore feature after they kept calling him a pedophile (with no supporting evidence) and repeatedly brought up his wife's struggle with alcoholism (talk about a cheap shot). Tim refused to do so and may have permanently exited the forum (we will see if he can actually stay away this time).
