    Trump Fact Checking Thread

  2. And she wasn't working as an escort. She made her living at that time in adult films (of which Trump was a big fan).
  3. Nothing to do with Trump. I was living well before he took office again and I should be living well after he leaves.

    Zelensky and Ukraine Thread

https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/us-senator-graham-senate-work-russia-sanctions-bill-next-week-2025-05-30/ US Senator Graham: Senate to work on Russia sanctions bill next week KYIV, May 30 (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate is set to move ahead next week with a bill imposing more sanctions on Russia over its three-year-old war in Ukraine, Senator Lindsey Graham said on Friday after talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, was accompanied on a visit to Kyiv by Connecticut Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal who cosponsored the Senate sanctions measure, which sets a 500% tariff on goods imported from countries that buy Russian oil, gas, uranium and other products. Graham said the legislation, which had 82 cosponsors, would impose "bone-breaking sanctions" on Russia and its customers. "So, I would expect next week that the Senate will start moving the sanctions bill. There are House members that are ready to move in the House, and you'll see congressional action," he said. To become law, the measure must pass the Senate and House of Representatives and be signed by President Donald Trump. Trump has expressed frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin's action in Ukraine but has held off on more sanctions, saying he worries they would hurt prospects for a peace deal. Graham said his aim was to muster bipartisan congressional support "for tools that would help President Trump get Putin to the peace table. These sanctions would do that." It was not immediately clear when the House might take up the sanctions bill, and Speaker Mike Johnson's office did not respond to a request for comment.

    Seven Of The Top Ten…

Twitter reports news. Never said that it was news in itself.

    Seven Of The Top Ten…

You notice that he and the others never complain about how multiple tranny threads interfere with their ability to "shoot the chit about all things," but somehow my posting links to actual news items about tariffs, deportations and denial of due process ruins the enjoyment of the forum.

    Seven Of The Top Ten…

No he never once said that and neither you or anyone else can provide a link that he did. And how can you not remember all the political discussions and threads started here by Torrid Joe and Recliner Pilot in the aughts (who was the forum's HT of that era).

    Seven Of The Top Ten…

I have been on this forum periodically since 2001and this board always has had a poltical aspect to it along with multiple politically themed threads. Torrid Joe and I used to debate Recliner Pilot and the other conservatives here in the aughts. Yeah, there are more political threads now, but currently on Page 1, I am responsible for only starting three of them. And no, per Joe Bryant, neither I, nor Tim Schochet, nor any other individual posters killed the PSF.

If you honestly think that "Describe Your Last Fart With A Song Title" adds more to this forum than threads about the tariffs/the economy, deportation without the right to due process, and crackdowns on free speech at Harvard and other universities...then I don't know what to say.

    Seven Of The Top Ten…

Says the guy who has started 20 threads on Page 1 on this forum, 18 of which in the last 12 hours.
  11. Smart. So this is a cosmetic move, just for sake of apperances and ultimately nothing will have changed (except Trump will have nothing to point to justify cutting funds).
  12. No one seems to know or can say. It seems to have no relevance whatsoever to Harvard and the student visa issue discussion.
  13. It has not been verfied that Barron even applied to Harvard or any other Ivy League school. His being turned down, so far appears to be an unverfied internet rumor.
  14. You notice, like any bully, he gives this treatment only who are not in a position to talk back (like a reporter who would be afraid of losing their press privelges). He would never show the same disrespect to Zelinksky, the Prime Minister of Canada or the President of South Africa.
  15. No, the court ruled that they didn't have the jurisdiction to review the matter. Nothing to cheer about or label it "Winning"
  16. And despite what we have heard in this forum, the Rooney Rule is not DEI. No team is required to hire a black coach, just interview one or more before they make their hire. Even if it is just a formality and they aren't hired, they may impress someone in the interview process that they are kept in mind for some future coaching position.
