It is sad and is the M.O. of several folks here, which is to completely mischaracterize and distort what someone has said to the point that is almost unrecognizable from what was originally posted. I thought so, particularly after Texas officials at the press conference I posted the video of went out of their way to emphasize that the NWS hadn't accurately predicted the amount of rainfall: "Everybody got the forecast from the NWS, right?"
