Is this what FBGs was like?

Dude, I have said several times that Joe told me to cut back or cut down on the number of tweets I was posting, but he didn't say to stop tweeting entirely (and it makes no sense that he would given that he was posting tweets himself on a daily basis).

    Fixed your post:

Translation: I'm lying about what Joe said and can't provide a link.

And that is how I know for sure you are lying, because I remember specfically what Joe said to me, and it wasn't to stop posting tweets in the PSF. Once again, if it is factual that Joe told me that, provide a link (which should be really easy being an ex-mod. )

Yeah, right. And if anyone believes that I got a bridge I want to sell them.

Is this what FBGs was like?

False. And you can't provide a link to Joe saying that. And, once again, what handle did you post under? I keep asking that and you keep avoiding an answer. Your detailed knowledge of Tim and I there indicates you were probably a pretty active poster on the PSF and not just a lurker.

Is this what FBGs was like?

Not true. Joe only told me (paraphrasing) to cut back and reduce the number of tweets I was posting. Joe never told me to stop posting tweets entirely, probably because he was posting tweets himself on a daily basis, mostly in the SP. It would have been laughably hypocritical if he had asked me to stop while he kept reposting tweets himself.

No they didn't, but the false narrative (that Joe Bryant would also find revisionist) keeps getting repeated that you and I got the PSF closed.
  9. Panican seems to be a blend of Panic and Republican, which looks to be directed at the MAGA folks and those who voted for Trump (they are the ones panicking now over the impact of the tariffs). Those of us on the left tried to warn you this would happen. We weren't conned by the false promise of lower egg and grocery prices (we said to believe Trump about the tariffs, so this debacle was not unexpected and we are not panicking).

Since the mods never identified who was banned (or why) it can't be stated as a fact that conservatives were banned more. It did seem like it was more conservatives, but maybe it was because that they were more vocal about it. That said, I do agree with your assessment of Clayton Gray.
  11. 9-0 SCOTUS said I am right about due process.

And to repeat FTR once again, after complaints about my posting "random tweets" Joe did ask me to "tone it down" and to post less tweets... However, he didn't ask me to stop posting tweets entirely, because he was doing it himself on a daily basis mostly in the Shark Pool.
  13. I said that repeatedly in the thread about the Columbia student Kahlil Mahmood, who was arrested and deported: Citizen or non-citizen, here legally or illegally, everyone is entitled to due process under the law in this country.

    False and complete nonsense.

Warned me about what? What handle do you or did you post under there? You seem to be overly familiar with my posting history at the PSF.
  16. That can't be right. I keep seeing a 15 second video clip of him saying that. Is there more context? Did he mis-speak?

The “top secret“ FBG MAGA Facebook group was a fiction. It never existed, they pretended it did to give the appearance that they had some sort of inside information from the mods. It had the flavor of an urban legend they perpetuated to make them appear to have some degree of power or importance (of which in reality, they had none).
  18. The priniciple is the same. I think JP Morgan said a few days ago, that the odds of a global recession are 60% (and probably higher now). If that is the case the tariffs will only make any recession worse and not better.
  19. The fear is real for anyone familiar with history and the consequences of The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. A short summary: The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, signed into law in 1930, raised tariffs on thousands of imported goods to protect American businesses and farmers, but it ultimately worsened the Great Depression by sparking retaliatory tariffs from other nations and significantly reducing global trade.
  20. Because virtually all leading economists say that tariffs don't work and the cost will be passed on to the American consumer. It is like instead of putting on the brakes, Trump is accelerating to take the US economy over a cliff.
  21. Yeah, definitely right where we want them. I didn't think it was possible but this situation with the tariffs keeps getting worse.
  22. Oh, yes. Raising it to 50% will definitely get China to remove their 34% tariff.
  23. If they did a poll of historians he would probably be in the Top 10 of that century.
  24. That does sound like something a dictator would schedule. Just sayin'... https://x.com/PrezLives2022/status/1909081466283184265 Plans are being developed to give Trump a 4 mile military parade that starts at the Pentagon and ends at the WH. This is what he wants for his birthday. This would be the perfect time for millions of people to protest every step of the way and ruin his birthday. Such a show of force would cost 100 million not including the damages tanks could cause on the roads and the bridges and metro DC would have to shut down. Trumps birthday on June 14th is the same day as the Army’s 250th anniversary. Why should a coward who bailed out of the Vietnam War, had no family ever serve, and called fallen soldiers suckers and losers, have a parade for himself costing a hundred million? Doesn’t seem like Trump is really trying to solve this mysterious waste problem we have.
  25. And how does he propose they do that? Do Vietnamese companies have to build factories in the US (and making what, exactly?)
