This is heartbreaking to watch.

It is just one poll and could be an outlier, but if other polls we see in the coming weeks have similar results it does not bode well for Republicans in the 2026 midterms.

Trump acting petty? That is really out of character.

Not to mention sleeping on the ground since the state of California was given no advance notice of their activation.

As is often the case, he didn't have a clue what he was talking about.

I predicted this before the election and said that the Latinos who were voting for Trump would regret it later, big time, and I was right. As I said last year, people will be swept up in this deportation net just because they look Latino (even if they don't have an accent). Latinos in L.A. are seeing friends, neighbors, co-workers and relatives arrested who are here legally (and ICE, Homan and Trump don't care).

It's not what most thought they were voting for, Trump said during the campaign that he would go after the worst criminals first, the murderers and the rapists. Instead, ICE is going after the low hanging fruit, the safe arrests of those working construction sites or showing up for scheduled government appointments.

And he, of all people, is complaining about personal insults? This is the same guy I put on ignore because he kept calling me PISS CLAM and a RUMP SWAB.

There is some truth to what you say, however, looking into this further: "Karen Bass, currently the Mayor of Los Angeles, has faced scrutiny regarding accusations of being a communist or having strong ties to communism. Wait, what??????????? Bass is a known Communist? I think I missed that "news" when he ran for Mayor. You wouldn't by chance have a link or some sort of proof to back that claim up?

Once again for those who missed it: The people who are looting and burning are not the same people who are protesting peacefully (I don't agree they should block the freeway). As in 2020 in L.A. with the George Floyd protests, a criminal element came out after the protests had ended for the day and the protesters had gone home, that was when the burning and looting started.
