DEI Air Traffic Controllers-Heads Need to Roll

10 years old the OP acts like this is current news and uses it as an excuse as to why we should layoff more air traffice controllers? SMH.

DEI Air Traffic Controllers-Heads Need to Roll

This is from 2015? Timely news.

    Squissy Fact Checking Thread

Threads about me seem to have a short shelf life for some reason. Let's see how long this one lasts.

    Trump Fact Checking Thread

It is not for his supporters who don't accept fact checking at all, obviously because there is only one set of facts and if Trump gets it wrong, they can't come up with an alternate set of facts to dispute it...but I digress. This thread will be just be here to set the record straight for those who are interested in the accuracy (or lack thereof) of Trump's statements.

Pam Bondi to start arresting all sanctuary city mayors!

Arresting them for what? I don't think those mayor's have violated any laws. Even if Bondi is creative with her charges, they won't hold up under a court challenge.

How long have you been here

Maybe you should start a thread on that. Who knows, it might even last longer than the one yesterday.

How long have you been here

Came over from The Huddle about 8 months after you did and for the same reason. I was a regular on this forum (and along with Torrid Joe, one of the few liberals) until about 2007 when the anti-Muslim rhetoric and homophobic slurs became excesive IMO, so I immigrated (legally) to FBGs where I stayed until, I guess. about 3-4 years ago when the PSF ended, prompting me to return here.
  8. Summary of posts from X: Wonder how many of the Black folks who voted for Trump approve of this. On the plus side, at least it didn't happen during Black History Month.

    Zelensky and Ukraine Thread

https://x.com/AaronBlake/status/1899823612166557932 (poll at link) Americans say by 14 points that Zelensky was NOT disrespectful towards Trump in their Oval Office meeting. They say by 22 points that Trump WAS disrespectful towards Zelensky.

    Yeah...I'm a bit worried

Unfortunately, those who didn't vote for him will reap it too.
  11. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt: “Tariffs are a tax hike on foreign countries…tariffs are a tax cut for the American people”
  12. He won't try to excuse it. He will accept it, fully, and blame everyone but Trump, and won't care if 1,200, 12,000, or 120,000 are excuted because Trump broke this agreement - that is the type of person he is.
  13. Fun Fact: Khalil Mahmood has not been charged with any crime.
  14. No, I never supported illegal immigration or open borders. Please. I never supported completly defunding a police department, I did support the diversion of some funds into alternative solutions.
  15. Link to where they said "Yes we were handing out terrorist materials"
  16. Um, no, they have not admited that they have handed out terrorist materials...lol
  17. Without seeing what the phamphlets say exactly, we dont know that and can't take your or anyone else's word for it. You remind me of someone ranting about supporting Communism during the McCarthy era.
  18. That is absurd that anyone who attends a pro-Palestinian rally or hands out a pamphlet is alligned with terrorists.
  19. There is Hamas material and there is Hamas material and this material in play could be rather innocuous (just saying "Free Palestine" or something along those lines). So until we can get some specfics as to what exactly was said we must give Khalil Mahmood, or anyone else, the benefit of the doubt that this is not supporting terrorism and does not merit deportation. And a court should determine the validity of the governments reasons for deportation if challenged on it, rather than just rubber stamping the process (mistakes could be made, no?)
  20. So are you saying that anyone who goes to a pro-Palestine student rally or who distributes a pamphlet supporting Palestine should be deported too? Really? Those activities by themselves pretty clearly fall under the protection of the first amendment.
  21. Supporting Hamas and distributing pro-Hamas propaganda is not vague? Sure seems that way and without defining what exactly they mean by that, it is vague (anyone going to pro-Palestinian rally or handling out a pamphlet could be deported based on that alone)
