No, the court ruled that they didn't have the jurisdiction to review the matter. Nothing to cheer about or label it "Winning"

NPR story on DEI and how 2600 DEI workers have been fired
squistion replied to kilroy69's topic in The Geek Club
And despite what we have heard in this forum, the Rooney Rule is not DEI. No team is required to hire a black coach, just interview one or more before they make their hire. Even if it is just a formality and they aren't hired, they may impress someone in the interview process that they are kept in mind for some future coaching position. -

To verify it was indeed from NPR and not edited/altered as some people have done in the past (like the Horse guy). Also not to have to scroll through all that crap. -

I never said or suggested that. Stop with this Straw Man mischaracterization. -
Remarkably, Tylenlol suffered no long term brand damage from this. And they don't know who did it, the perpetrator of the 1982 Tylenol cyanide poisonings remains unknown.

To make matters worse one of their print ads said "Lose weight fast with AYDS!" I remember a stand up comedian at the time talking about an AYDS company meeting with the CEO saying: "Why couldn't they have called it Snickers?"

More on the success, so far, of the Cowboy Carter Tour. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_Carter_Tour#Commercial_performance Ticket sales Ticket sales for the Cowboy Carter Tour were handled by Ticketmaster, whose website crashed due to "massive demand".[32][33] For the US dates, it was revealed that there would be three different presale events before the public on-sale, where fans could register for a chance to buy tickets in one of two ways: through the Beyhive presale, which ran from February 11, 2025, until the next day, or through the Artist presale, for access to the presale on February 13.[34] The third option was limited to Citi Card Members and Verizon customers only.[35] Mastercard holders were granted access for a special presale on February 12 for the London and Paris shows.[36] Ten additional dates were added due to the high demand, including fifth and sixth shows in London, a fifth concert each in Inglewood and East Rutherford, third and fourth shows in Atlanta, a third concert each in Paris and Chicago,[37][38][39] and two subsequent shows in Las Vegas.[40] With the added dates, Beyoncé broke the record for the most shows in a single run at MetLife and Mercedes-Benz stadiums in East Rutherford and Atlanta, respectively.[39][41] In preparation for the general sale, fans booked time off work and crowd-sourced data to track ticket prices.[42] In the UK, it was estimated that 6.2 million fans would miss out on tickets.[43] According to Billboard, while some fans criticized high ticket prices, the tour saw "impressive" sales, estimating a gross of over $325 million.[44] All three Paris shows at Stade de France sold out within minutes, totalling 240,000 tickets sold.[45] Some media outlets reported slow sales.[b] Live Nation reported that sales surpassed the million mark by mid-March 2025, with 94% of tickets being sold.[49] -

Nope, just the opposite (from a Google search): Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour has been a resounding success. The tour is already making history and breaking records, with her Los Angeles run at SoFi Stadium earning $55.7 million, according to VIBE.com. It is the highest-grossing reported single-venue engagement by a woman in Billboard Boxscore history, says KTLA5 https://ktla. com/entertainment/beyonces-cowboy-carter-tour- breaks-another-record/. -

The winners of the AMA are chosen by voters and many pop and rock music fans also like Country (I do). Cowboy Carter was critically acclaimed and hugely successful reaching #1 on the US Billboard 200 Album Charts and was ranked #5 on Billboard's 2024 Top Country Albums list. In addition, from Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_Carter#Charts The album increased the listenership of country music, drove cultural conversations on Black musicians' place within the genre, boosted the careers of rising country artists, and increased the popularity of Western wear and culture.
