I start Gore
-
I think I would go with Hillis here as he's the one most likely to start the rest of the year. I doubt Bell or Young will ever get the full load. Hillis had a huge game against Miami as a fullback catching passes too, so he might still be of use even if/when Bell and Young take over. Obviously while Portis is healthy, Alexander has no value. And I suppose Caddy is in a similar situation as Hillis, but unless Graham and Dunn go down, I don't like him.

He was in on the last play lined up at WR.
-
Barring a huge game from Bruce, I should have the week locked up. Debating on whether or not to start Hightower over Gore just for the hell of it since everyone seems to be projecting him to have a better week. Should be fun to watch either way

Anyone else licking their chops with Titans DEF vs Rexy?

Go Titans!! -
Ok, so I have a lot of options, but also questions with my WR group, which 2 would you start? Marshall @ Cle - when does he turn it around? Denver just looks terrible Edwards vs Den - great matchup, but how will he do with Quinn? Berrian vs GB - been solid, probably a lock to start for me Calvin vs Jax - been solid, but Orlovsky is out? Culpepper may start?
-
We can hope... but I think I've got enough other options to consider sitting him this week. Culpepper hasn't played since week 12 of last season and hasn't had much time to get the playbook down, not to mention we don't know if he stayed in shape after "retiring." Orlovsky and Stanton have both been with the team to know the offense and work out with the team, so there weren't as many unknowns for Orlovsky throwing to Megatron.
-
We've seen Rosenfels with Andre Johnson before, pretty much most of the time Andre was playing in the last half of last year was with Rosenfels, so I wouldn't be worried about him at all. Calvin on the other hand I'm not sure about. If Culpepper starts I'm likely sitting Calvin because he's probably rusty and getting a crash course on the offense. I'd rather take the wait and see approach on him.

Its not that bad. Lynch is clearly the best keeper in the whole trade and its not overly lopsided when you consider that he is looking at next season. We had a similar issue where an owner traded almost his entire team for LT after 3 weeks this season so he could be a keeper, that was vetoed quick. This situation isn't nearly that extreme, its close enough that the trade should pass. Thanks for mine

My QB choices aren't great this week... who should I go with? Rodgers @ Tenn Big Ben @ Was Also play 2 WRs and a flex... I have Marshall, Calvin and Berrian in right now, should I sub any of them out for... DeSean Jackson @ Sea Braylon Edwards vs Bal Hightower @ StL
-
If you really want him then go for it, its your team and your decision. For 5 out of 8 weeks, DeAngelo has scored single digits in my league. Calvin has scored double digits in 5 out of 7. Averages don't tell you everything, if a guy blows up and has a monster game, that can significantly raise his average, even if that monster game only happens once or twice a year. I'd rather look for the consistency, and Calvin is more consistent at giving double digit points so far this season.
-
Yes... he has a much higher ceiling than Miller... That being said, I don't expect a lot out of any TE not named Witten (although his injury may change things) and Gates this year. In my league, only the top TEs are actually matching points scored by kickers so I don't really expect anything from the position.
-
touche... although Martz is still calling the shots on offense, so I'm not worried about Gore at all. The coaches know they need to get him the ball because he's the best player they have. The Cowboys have a lot more talent, including a couple of WRs who have been complaining that they aren't getting the ball enough.
-
I'd agree here... Peyton's knee surgery wasn't nearly as big and he wouldn't be worth a first or second round pick at this point.
-
I have Gore in a non-PPR keeper and the Barber owner approached me about a month ago about a trade involving these 2. I offered a straight up trade and he turned it down, saying Barber was worth more and he wanted to upgrade elsewhere in a trade. Looking back, I think I'm happier that the trade didn't go through as Barber has been more inconsistent, and I don't want any part of the current Cowboys drama.
-
I'm starting Braylon... but this is a really bad bye week for me and I don't really have a choice. I think he'll be ok though, putting up average numbers, not expecting a monster day.
-
I'm unsure about it myself, I can see it going both ways. Indy looked great against the Ravens tough defense, but struggled against the Packers. I do think the Titans can get to Manning since the Colts o-line isn't what it used to be. But which Colts do we see? I'm debating on whether or not to start the Bucs instead, seems like I should since Dallas doesn't have Romo, but I have a feeling the Cowboys find a way to score.

Didn't see this posted anywhere, thought it was some nice info from rotoworld
-
I dropped him for Zach Miller, but TEs are pretty worthless this year as a whole. After Witten and Gates, and Daniels after his monster week... there are 9 TEs within 8 points of each other in my league.
-
Here are the details, Curtis had 4 games in which he scored a TD (or 3), which also accounted for 531 of his 1110 yards... and 3 of those were his only 100+ yard days. That leaves 579 yards in the other 12 games, therefore he averaged 48.25 yards per game when he wasn't scoring any TDs, not exactly great numbers. He was always on my bench last year because of this inconsistency. He probably wasn't bad in PPR because he always caught at least 2 balls per game, but I'm not in PPR so I don't know what his value is there.
-
I do like Evans more than the other 2, so it depends on your WR depth. If you are in need of WRs, absolutely take it. Otherwise I'd probably keep Evans because he's got a highest ceiling. Thanks for mine
-
I'm debating on who to go with Marshall Braylon @ Was or Calvin @ Hou Braylon woke up against a tough defense, does he keep it up? Calvin has an easier matchup and seemed to click with Orlovsky, but does the concussion slow him down? I also have Berrian who has been on fire lately, but I don't know if I can even consider starting him over these 2.
-
I personally wouldn't start both of them... I'd probably go with Holmes based on matchup. I do think both Wayne and Marvin are great options this week, but I just don't like starting more than 1 rec from the same team. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=329149

Always start Gore, especially when Forte is going up against a defense like the Vikes. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=329149
