    Calvin Johnson/Harrison/Coles/Royal

I think I would go with Harrison and Calvin. Royal is a close 3rd here, all good options, but Peyton to Marvin looks good again and Calvin doesn't have Marshall(or Roy) in front of him. I'm debating on starting Calvin myself... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=329149

    Browns offense

What do you guys think? Did they wake up or will they let owners down again? Are people selling high?

    Hightower or James

This tandem reminds me of Julius Jones/MBIII of 2006. As exciting as MBIII was, his limited touches made JJ a better option most of the time. Dallas is allowing 95 YPG rushing and 3 rushing TDs total so far. I wouldn't place either real high up on my list, but I agree with that last few that Hightower may be a better bet since Edge needs yards to make him valuable.

    Best DST from here on

They are a good real NFL defense but they aren't good for fantasy points so far. Currently #23 in my league... They are worth watching though as they have a some easier matchups coming up... StL, Cle, Det next 3 weeks. Probably a good bye week filler if needed.

    Scheffler likely out Week 6

As a homer, my guess would be Nate Jackson. I think Graham's role will be exactly the same, he is still the #1 TE(yes, over Scheffler) but is primarily a blocker. Jackson is more likely to fill Scheffler's spot and looked great in preseason before Scheffler took over.

    Griese

    Well that worked out well..

    Bronocs Homers - Ryan Torain

And "workhorse" can also be interpreted another way. I know most want to think an LJ or SJax type ~30 carries a game. But Pittman is playing a few roles for the team, 3rd down, short yardage, goal line, fullback and receiving. While he's not playing fullback or lining up as a receiver very often, those are assignments that he does get. I'm guessing thats what he means when he says that. I understand the frustration as a fantasy player on RBBCs, be it 2, 3 or 4 backs. And thats why everyone here hates Shanahan, but he's not playing for fantasy stats. Shanahan was also giving Royal a ton of praise in the offseason, look how that worked out.

    Bronocs Homers - Ryan Torain

Graham still is the #1 TE, he's just more of a blocker than a pass catcher. Scheffler was working back in from injury and Nate Jackson did very well in preseason, so Shanny was making Scheffler earn his spot back. Nothing wrong with that. I didn't hear him say that about Pittman, but I'm curious to see Torain. Not as a fantasy option, but as a fan. We've seen a lot of RBs come and go since Portis, and you don't hear that kind of praise from Shanny on the other backs. Also note that Torain dropped 2-3 rounds due to injury his senior year. He was projected a higher pick had he entered the draft as a junior.

    Bronocs Homers - Ryan Torain

Because Mike Shanahan compares him to Terrell Davis.

    Griese

You would think so... but the whole defense is pretty weak. Ranked 31st against the pass, and 26th against the run. They had Paymah and Jack Williams (rookie) covering Bowe a lot of the time last week, don't know why... Well I don't think its quite that clear cut on Ben, the Jags are 24th against the pass so you never know... but I'm pretty sure I'm rolling with Griese this week

I don't get the start/sit em sites -- Moss vs. Cassel

In standard scoring, a WR can have a good day while his QB has a bad day pretty easily. A 100yd day out of a WR is good, while a 150yd day out of the QB is not so good... plus the QB can be prone to turning the ball over, lowering his value further.
  12. I stashed Engram, but I don't expect consistent numbers out of any of these guys. I had Curtis last year and I don't see him being all that great. If we take out his one huge week, he had 3 TDs and 2 100yd games(where he scored 2 of the 3 TDs). With the emergence of DeSean Jackson, I think Curtis' value diminishes further.

    Griese

I think I'm going to be playing Griese over Big Ben and Rodgers. I'm concerned about both their injuries and Ben just hasn't been all that productive.

    Anything wrong with Megatron?

    Tell that to Griese

    Rodgers unlikely to play

For what its worth, here is what Rotoworld says about it

    Aaron Rogers vs. Big Ben

I had all 3 as well, traded away Warner 2 weeks ago and felt good about my situation. Now I'm a little worried, but I think I like Rodgers more this year provided that he can stay healthy.

    R Moss, B Edwards, A Johnson,C Johnson

I'm thinking about offering Braylon for AJ, think an owner might go for a straight up deal? Or would I need to toss something else in?

    QB problems

Well I thought I was pretty much set with Rodgers and Big Ben for the year. But Rodgers injury scares me and Ben hasn't exactly been a great QB this year. Ben looks healthy enough, but no run game and bad o-line scares me too. Who would you start this week? Orton and Bulger are also on the wire, but I'm last on waiver order so who knows if I'll get either one of them. Who would you rather have? I know Bulger is on a bye, but he could be worth stashing in case my QBs don't get back to form. On the other hand, Orton could start for me this week against the Lions.

    Time to drop Selvin Young?

I agree, Deuce or Torain. My first choice would probably be Deuce though, he should help you out right away. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=326745

    Trade Advise

Thats a really tough question as it really depends on what other owners need and have. I imagine you could target a low end WR1, or a RB2 like Chris Johnson or Matt Forte. This answer is kind of a shot in the dark though, because really, the answer is "it depends" Thanks for mine.

Help me pick my starters for this week

I'd go with Portis and Graham. Portis is your stud and Denver's run D is terrible. Wayne and Holmes are locks, I'd agree with you, go with Moore for this week, he's been solid with the other injuries to the Saints. I'd like to see Engram play before putting him in my lineup. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=326745

    Matt Prater - K (DEN)

As a Denver homer I still wish the Broncos could have gotten Crosby last year. Prater seems to miss the occasional FG that Elam would always make, but he's got distance. He's still not Crosby though, Crosby would routinely hit it through the uprights on kickoffs as a Buff. I would pick Prater up, but Kaeding is doing fine so I have no need.

    Linehan Fired

From Rotoworld: I may have to put a waiver claim on him this week.

I wish I were kidding here... these are my choices for WR2 with Megatron a bye, but at least I have Marshall. Thanks for the input.
