TNF Chicago @ Green Bay - In Game Discussion
hoydogg replied to GornFishin''s topic in FFToday Board
Maybe Barkley will throw to Miller more -
I'm starting Gillislee and Quizz in one league
-
Jets? Russel Wilson banged up, and may not play.
-
What are your thoughts on him this weekend against a tough Rams D? I'm starting him as my RB 2 in a standard league based on volume alone. My other options would be Riddick, Coleman, or Rawls. Coleman is intriguing to me, but he's still splitting carries with Freeman.
-
Just picked him up today
-
Let's talk some backup running backs after a few injuries this past weekend. Who are you targeting? Seems like AP has the most significant injury, so could miss the most time. Will the Vikes deploy more of a split backfield with Asiata and McKinnon? Riddick seems more like a pass catching back. Not sure how much they will use him between the tackles. Whittaker had 100 yards on the ground, but C.A.P. may cut into some of that workload. I'm leaning toward targeting Whittaker. What say you?

Per Rotoworld: An NFL spokesman told the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot that suspended WR Josh Gordon remains on track to return Week 5 despite an arrest warrant being issued for him in Cleveland on Wednesday.

Tyler Eifert (ankle) returned to a limited practice Wednesday. This is Eifert's first practice since the playoffs last season after he messed up his ankle in the Pro Bowl. It's a good sign to see him back on the field, but Eifert is surely at least another week or two away from playing in games after missing the entire offseason. Still, it's probably a good time to look if he's on waiver wires in fantasy leagues. Eifert should be back at some point in October. Source: Paul Dehner on Twitter

I was thinking the same thing. He's been sitting on my bench. Is he droppable? The QB situation in Cleveland is bad anyway.
-
Would you drop Sims to pick up Washington?

Giants Offense a must start this week vs. New Orleans

Started Jennings the last two weeks. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. -
He is actually throwing for a decent amount of yards. I'm guessing the touchdowns will come eventually
-
so is he droppable at this point? I'm looking at Flacco and Fitz on the waiver wire.
-
I had the Eagles D last week, and they were decent. Was kind of concerned about starting them @ Chicago, so I picked up Jets D. Seems like a bad move on my part thus far. I fell into the trap of everyone saying how bad Buffalo's offense was. I should have given more thought to this being a divisional game, and Rex playing his old team. Revis Island is no more. I know KC didn't do very well, but they have some injuries. Houston is out, and Hali is not 100%.
-
Thoughts on his matchup against Peterson? Could be shutdown.
-
My other QB is Winston, but he's playing against AZ. Not sure what to do at this point.

Pittsburgh at Washington: In-Game Discussion

The offense is offensive -
He's a really deep sleeper. Like comatose.
-
What are you doing with him? It appears that he will play, but possibly in a limited role. This could obviously decrease his chances for production. Obviously, the best solution would be if you drafted Michael as well. If you didn't would you possibly start a bye week fill in off your bench? I'm looking at like Henry, Sims, or West. My other starting running back is McCoy.
-
For those waiting on a QB until later who are you targeting? I'm looking at someone like Carr, Cousins, Tygod, or Winston. Who has more potential upside?
-
I kind of ended up reaching for him. I already had Cooper, Nelson, and ODBJ though. He looked pretty good in that last preseason game despite not playing last year. I also like the fact that he played with RGIII in college.
-
ended up taking Winston and Cousins
-
Who has more upside for the playoff run? I like Tyrod's rushing potential. I've been swapping QBs all season. Started with Tannehill, but dropped him a few weeks back.
