With Toomer done, it looks like Tim Carter gets a shot as a starter. I would expect him to be the 4th option behind Tiki, Plax, and Shokey. He has only had spot duty to this point in the NFL, but was a big play guy when it counted at Auburn. The only reason I put Rashied Davis here, especially since he may not even step in as a starter while Berrian is out, is because he seems to be a lot like Berrian as a streatch the field kind of guy. I'm not talking all world here, just thoughts on either of these guys being able to produce at all down the streatch? Thoughts?

I also think you are OK at QB with Kitna and Favre as a spot start. The only real way to improve on that is to get a Manning, Vick, or McNabb...and I don't see that happening. I would agree to try and trade Alexander. Possibly package him with Evans, you're still stacked at WR, and go for a solid RB you can count on. Otherwise, I would do nothing..it looks good.

Gould has been a top 10, maybe even a top 5, scorer is most formats to this point in the season. The weather will be turning ugly in Chicago very soon. Is it time to try to trade him if you own him?

I would pick up Washington and play him. I have never put a lot of stock into looking at bye weeks during the draft. It makes no sense passing on the next best player due to bye weeks, and you're well ahead of the game for 15 or 16 weeks of the season.

If Williams is starting, I would probably go Coles and Williams. Branch could do well, but no-one in that passing attack except Hass is a sure start..maybe DJax, but too many options. If Williams is a go, he will continue to put up solid numbers. Good luck

As you can see, this is my first post. Yippie! Like many, I have been coming here for years to read this message board because Mike truly has something great going here. There is always great insight, and I have been able to make many pre-draft and in-season decisions based on the insight I get here. I have never felt the need to actually join and post until now, and quite frankly may never post again (I'm sure I will take some shots for that). My frustration is this - PLEASE help get the "Team Management Questions" off this board. Thanks, Just Some Guy who wants this board back to normal.

Wow, good stuff. Looks like the primary complaint to this topic is that there are just as many of these as their are WDIS topics. I know this will sound crazy, but it seems to me that these posts will go away as soon as the WDIS posts go away. As I said before, I really enjoy the site - it's still the best out there.
