L.J is playing against Atlanta
Winslow is playing against Houston.
Winslow has scored more points this year, but he has slowed down as of late. Who should I start?
-
I have seen a lot of double penalty calls this year. Instead of trying to get the calls right, they just decided they are going to have them play the play over.
As for this call, I am biased as a Redskins fan, but I thought it was Buress who pushed off first and the DB had to grab to get back into position.

My fantasy superbowl is week 17, and he is on my team. I survived his shortcomings all year (just barely) by picking up players off of the waiver wire. Hopefully his 34 points that he gave me will be enough to give me the win! Not sold just yet though.

I'd also put barber in for barber.

Your team. I think your matchups are better.
Thanks for mine.

I palmer has a good game, I think it is going to be Team A.
However, it is always possible that LT is going to slow down now that he has his record and they just about have the #1 seed locked up.

Bruce and Hackett or Jennings
Bruce is solid, and I think it is a toss up between Jennings and Hackett.

I would go with Bulger, but he hasn't been great and the Washington defense has been playing much better the last few weeks then they were at the start of the year. I just think Dalas is going to be a tough match up for Garcia.

Who would you start this week?
Cutler vs. Bulger
Cutler is going against Cincy
Bulger is going against the Skins
Addai vs. Alexander
I get points for attempts and for yards.
Addai is going against Houston
Alexander is going against the Chargers.
Addai may not be getting the ball as much
Alexander has not been doing great

If you watched the game then you would have noticed that he looked good. He had that same drive and toughness from a few years ago, and that is why some are high on him. He was drafted late in probably every draft but should put up decent numbers this year. The guy isn't old either and will likely play a few more seasons.A guy in my league decided he was done with Farve and he dropped him! LOL. His loss should be my gain!

Would you trade Willie Parker fora. Willis McGahee
or
b. Chester Taylor
If you say Chester, would you change your mind if the owner of Willis McGahee will also give me Moose Muhammad for Kevin Curtis?
I think I would hold on to Parker. I wouldn't trade for either McGahee or Chester Taylor.

Yuck. Does it HAVE to be one of those two? If so, go with Lundy as he's the starter and Addai is not...although I hesitate to recommend a Houston player pretty much alwayslI could do either Lee Evans or Burleson.
I gave up my depth before the start of the season to make a trade to get Tiki Barber... So, my advantage is I have SA and Tiki as my RB's.
-
Who would you start this week? Addai didn't look great last week, but at least he had a higher ypc. He should/could do better this week. Lundy, looked pretty bad last week... But, at least he was the starter.
Out of the two, who would you start?

Portis will start. I expect Duckett to take away almost all of Portis' carries that are inside the 10 yards. Portis has had this injury in the past, and it is more of an annoyance then a "keep you out" type of injury.
Portis will need to be in there to turn around the horrible Washington offense that we have seen so far in the preseason.

I had Greg Jones go down and was looking to pickup a good WR, TE, or RB, with a lot of upside. Do any of you have any recommendations in each (assuming they might be available after a 12-team draft)?Greg Jennings might be there. If he is, I would snatch him up in a heartbeat.
-
i drafted reggie before this trade came to us and i am scared that stallworth will get more looks this year. how soon all depends on how fast he can learn the system and how many balls he drops. although i hear his IQ is a bit low, i expect him to be mcnabbs fav target by midseason.Stallworth couldn't beat out a 7th round draft pick, if that tells you anything? I think having more depth there in Eagle country, only helps our Reggie.

took him in the 13th saturday night...I took Winslow late in the 13th and I took V. Davis late in the 15th. I wouldn't have waited so long for a TE, but the run of TE's went in between my picks and there was no one (TE) left to take. So I waited, and I hope Kellen Winslow is as big as he could be!

I don't think I would trade the 4th pick overall in a 14 team league to anyone lower in the order than me. The reason being that there is a huge drop off in value from the 4th pick to a 2nd round pick.Take Tiki and don't look back.
just my $0.02
I agree. I would keep my first round pick.
-
I have the 4th pick in a 14-team redraft league. I am at a loss as to who to pick and I thought about trading out of the 1st round altogether and acquiring more picks in rounds 2-6. Is this a smart move? What should I expect in a trade? Someone has already offered me a trade from the 12th spot. He offered me his 2nd and 5th for me 1st and 8th. I quickly shot it down. I need more than that but how much? Thanks for your help!In a 10 person league, I traded my 3rd (3.02) and my 5th (5.02) for the 6th person taken (Tiki Barber)
-
Smart Banana. The guy can't help himself, and for all you Dallas fans going - he'll be fine, it's preseason, Parcell's will handle him - all I have to say is San Fran/Philly has been there and done that. This guy is a nut-job and will implode - taking the Cowboys with him.
Sounds good to me. I hope he burns the cowboys big time!
-
Very nice....Tiki and SA will pay dividends.Guy that did the trade has TO, and I talked him into being affraid that he was going to lose TO quickly this year. Who knows, he may actually lose TO quickly the way that whole mess is going. LOL.
Just as long as Tiki doesn't start to be affected by his 30+ age (Wasn't an issue last year) and just as long as SA does suffer from the multiple curses on him.... Then I am going to do just fine, even if my WR core stinks.
-
Wow...Waynes going to have an awesome year...who did you get in return?I'm curious!!
Tiki Barber.
I traded away Willie Parker and Reggie Wayne for Tiki.
So, now I have Both SA and Tiki.
It could be huge, or it could suck big time for me. The season will tell.
