    Hunch Play of the Week

Raider fan here. This is a smart play. Moore was the second coming after breaking out his rookie year and looks great. He has a real rapport with Carr. I expect him to go for 60-900-7 this year and be Oakland's #1 receiver.

    Post your lineup thread.

12 Team QB: Stafford RB: Murray RB: Stacy WR: B. Marshall WR: Hunter WR: Randle TE: Rudolph FLEX: Gore FLEX: Gerhart McCluster and Wheaton on the bench and may get subbed in for Hunter.

Last minute thoughts on Andre Ellington?

First thing I thought too upon hearing the news. It is a move that makes sense; Buffalo seems to be begging someone to take Spiller of their hands the way they are (mis)using Spiller. Another interesting move for the Cards would be to trade for McFadden. He is on a one year deal with Oakland and could be had for cheap, as MJD seems to be lead dog out there and Murray would be fine as a #2.

    Could Hunter be Aj Green?

Best post I've read in some time. Excellent work.

The Bills' backfield - Week 1 and beyond

I was fairly certain I had a good idea, and had seen/heard nothing about Spiller being a "bright spot." 4 yards a clip and no 3rd down or redone work (despite playing into the 3rd quarter last game) does not scream bright spot. Hence I asked when you mentioned it. Healthy I'll give you.

The Bills' backfield - Week 1 and beyond

What happened in the preseason that makes you say that? Not being a ballbag, I legitimately don't know. I thought he had like 17 carries and a couple catches and thats it.

The Bills' backfield - Week 1 and beyond

Spiller is not a Doug Whaley guy, and the Bills are not committed to him to say the least - they tried to trade up to grab Carlos Hyde, then sent Philly a 4th rounder to get Bryce Brown. And then there is the Anthony Dixon add pre-draft. Those are not moves that instill confidence in Spiller's usage this year. Best case scenario is that Spiller gets traded for a pair of mid round picks to a team hit by the injury bug at RB. Could really add to his value, as well as help clarify the Buffalo situation (I could see Bryce Brown and FJax splitting carries and Brown steadily emerging as the back to own if Spiller peaces out). Could he bust out any particular week, including week 1? Of course, thats his value. But if you have a safer option, I'd sit him week 1.
  8. I'm in a deep auction league where a group of owners want to change the draft to the Saturday AFTER the Thursday night game due to scheduling conflicts. To me this seems absurd, but before I start on a rampage punching people in front of wives, kids and other family members, I wanted to get some feedback from the FFToday brain trust. Anyone ever hear of this? It's stupid right?

    Z. Stacy

I hate the guy and have him in two leagues. Definitely need some more cowbell this week.

Does anyone draft AFTER the first game?

I dunno. Feels blasphemous and wrong to do it after a game. If it was a $25 league i wouldn't care, but this is a $300 buy in. Would rather draft 3 weeks early than after a game. Will probably leave the league if this happens.

anyone esle expecting a calvin explosion

If he goes to the King Wah all you can eat buffet Saturday night and crushes sesame chicken and beef lo mein, yes I would expect explosion.

    Who's starting Houston D week 1?

Ursa, Non, and General Zod run the Planet Houston and will be a great fantasy D this year, despite a garbage offense that will put them in tough spots all year. I'm rolling them out in 2 leagues with confidence. Kneel before Zod!!!!

    I have 8 RB's on my roster

    Whoa. 175?! No way!!!
  14. I am. Only TE I drafted in one league.

    Hunter still #3?

Love Hunter. Don't see him as a volume guy, especially early on, but he is going to have some huge games this year. Probably a few 2-37 lines as well along the way, but I've tried to get him in every league I can.

    Which WR surprises you?

McClusterfock is both RB and WR eligible in ESPN, which makes him attractive in deep leagues. I hate the guy, but I grabbed him late in a 12 team PPR where we start 2 RB, 3 WR, and 2 Flex. I know he is not built like Woodhead and can't run between the tackles like Woodhead, but if he is going to play some variation of that role, he has potential PPR value given the RB/WR designation. Plus, that backfield is a mess, and I thin his role changes little no matter how the Green v. Sankey thing plays out. As for other dudes on the OP's list, I like Stills. He isn't getting much love and is banged up, but he is going undrafted in a lot of leagues despite his upside.

    D.Carr is legit

I like the move by Oakland, and as a Raider fan, I think this makes Denarius Moore a possibility to come back from the dead. Dude is mad talented and looked like a star in the making his rookie year. The chemistry between Moore and Carr is a big reason why Moore is still on the team (if you saw the last preseason game, you know what I'm talking about). As for Carr, this has to put him on the QB2 radar in deeper leagues and a guy to watch on the WW.

Just took Calvin #1 in my money league ...

Your league doesn't flex punters? Pffft. Whatever.

When you think of garbage... think of Hakeem

Bump. Because it's the best post title ever.

Who did you take Toby ahead of - and why?

Word at the exit 12 rest stop is that you do, in fact, touch him in places that a bathing suit would cover.

    53 Man Cut-Down Activity

Santonio is getting hyped by the Bears as having a "real role" in the office and reports have him splitting the WR3 job with Morgan. https://twitter.com/ProFootballTalk/status/505410707933102080 Not sure I buy it, but worth keeping in mind for those still drafting super deep.

    Benny Cunningham

Ok so far good. Now, back to the issue at hand: As a reluctant Stacy owner in one league (took him right after Ellington went in the 3rd and he was the last in that tier), I'm less concerned about Cunningham as I am with Stacy's mediocrity. As many posters have pointed out Cunningham's stats are warped from the hurt he put on the atrocious Bears run D after Zac got hurt. Stacy could very easily be this year's TRich. Less concerned with him losing his job to Benny and more with him just plain sucking.

    Preseason Observations - Week 4

Derek Carr looks way better than Johnny Foopah, 11-14, 3 TD with the Raiders JV squad air bad.

    Preseason Observations - Week 4

Who cares about Maziel? Has anyone watched Isiah Crowell? He looks monsterous and like the most explosive rusher on the team.
