  1.

Is that going off statistical data only, or do they have it factored in that they had some key injuries to their defense??

It's a good point, Chargers D is pretty banged up right now. I'd go with the Bears over the Chargers D!

  2. Agreed. Not sure why you're even entertaining the thought of starting the Chiefs. The Vikes are an elite play this weekend as well as week 17 against Chicago (for those who are playing in a 2 week championship matchup like myself).

With that said, I'm considering starting the Bears this weekend over the Vikes. Logic tells me to go with the Bears but my guts saying Vikes. Any owners in the same dilemma, and if so, who are you rolling out?

I'm in the same exact situation, deciding between Bears and Vikes. I had the Bears plugged in all week but just switched to the Vikes. With Davante Adams out, they are missing their top weapon (GB that is). And GB should be very deflated after getting Rodgers back last week only to get knocked out of the playoff race and losing him again. Very cold in GB in a night game tomorrow too.

  3. If you've already clinched your playoff spot and likely a first round bye, might make sense to prepare with your streaming D for championship week. I know, thinking WAY ahead here but I think it's smart rather than waiting and fighting for the top D.

Thoughts on best D's for week 16?

I have the Vikes D, at Green Bay. I feel good about them but in the off chance that ARod returns I am no longer loving that matchup...

  4. I know no one cares about kickers but with the crazy scoring system in my league they are very important, soooooo.........anyone know what's up with Matt Bryant? Thought I heard something about him "limping" in the game yesterday. Anyone see the game and know the issue?

    Thanks!!

  5. I normally do the "right thing" and wait on QB and am not tempted to draft one of the top QB's way too early. This year I'm thinking differently though, considering taking ARod or Brady early as I expect big years from both (especially Brady actually).

Having said that, I've done some live mocks over the past week and it seems that both are ALWAYS drafted either in the 1st or in the early 2nd at the latest. Is this reality? Are people valuing them highly and taking them this early in real drafts or is this just a result of people "playing around" in mock drafts?

  6. Has anyone every done a slow draft? i.e. a draft which spans over a few days or even a week?

Can this really work? If so, what restrictions do you impose and how can you keep people from taking advantage and taking forever to make their picks?

Someone suggested this for our league but I'm skeptical about it...

  7. Very good and interesting question, can I ask one back?

    PPR?

    In a ppr I like

    Mixon and Hill

    Hunt and Ware

    Cook and L Murray.

    Non ppr

    Mixon and Hill

    Hunt and Ware

    Cook and L Murray.

The Redskins Rb situation I'm not so sure about just yet, but I do think you need to add Thompson.

I'm still not sold on the Niners whole team situation.

And I think that the only Ravens Rb to own just might be Woodhead.

I agree with you about Woodhead in a PPR, easily the safest bet to produce in that backfield! No idea really who will be "the guy" once Dixon returns, they may just split between West and Dixon. My "hope" with the strategy I outlined above is that Dixon would emerge and take over but it's definitely not a given.

  8. No RB will start the season slower and finish stronger than Lynch. They'll ease him back then lean on him heavy after Week 10 or so.

True about Lynch, but the problem with him is with "value". It's going to take a pretty high pick to get him, possibly a 2nd rounder. With these younger guys you can get them cheap and load up at the other positions earlier - then when these guys reach their potential later in the year your roster can be stacked everywhere!

  9. What do you think of loading up on RB's who will get better as the season goes on? this would include rookies (obviously) and the suspended RB's.

    Possibly draft the following:

    Mixon

    DMartin

    KDixon

    DCook

    Perrine

    KHunt

    Joe Williams (SF)

These would be the guys who would get more valuable as the season progresses, the more talented rookie RB's who would likely become the starters (or at least some of them likely would).

Along with these, draft the following to get through the first few weeks:

    JRodgers (Tampa)

    TWest (Balt)

    Thoughts?

  10. The latest is that he's going to be a game-time decision!

I'm trying to decide what to do now. I could just roll with Moncrief.

Or if i want to wait out the game-time decision (in the late game Sunday), I can pick up a WR who is also playing late as a backup plan. the best available would be Hogan (playing Monday night).

    Thoughts?

  11. thoughts on Hunter Henry for the rest of the season? I currently have Brate and am thinking of dropping him for HH. HH had a quiet game against Denver but that then again nearly everyone does. I'm more concerned about the split with Gates going forward - does this prevent HH from being a TE1?

San Diego's schedule is very good going forward ...
