They own the teams, they are compensating the players more than fairly for them playing football every year. Why wouldnt they be the ones making the money here. If the players don't want to play for the millions they are getting, then they should just quit.

What site do you run this league on, and are there rules with that site as far as making lineup changes before the said game locks?

Pretty sure the job will be his once healthy. It will be the last year of his 4 year contract I believe. So contract year looks good, but you gotta hope they put together an O-line to help him out.

They still draft on Saturday, just not the start of it, you can still party all day, do everything you described. And I don't see how opening day being on a Thursday means that there isn't a Saturday before opening day, how could that have changed anything.
