Sammy Morris is really going to be a great play - if Maroney and Jordan don't play. Does anyone have any kind of local/inside info? If Morris gets most of the carries this week, he could easily go for 120+total yards and 2+ TDs. The Pats running game would always have that much potential, if only they didn't run 4 RBs every week. If he gets the start, I'll probably be starting him over MJD, even though MJD could finally break out this week, as I'm really not scared of the Colts D, especially without Bob Sanders. So what do you guys think? Are you starting Morris, if so, over who?

I agree. And I'm sure that it didn't help to have to go against two of the better defense's in the NFL for the first two weeks, especially while they were trying to work out some kinks, themselves. They will be back. I think they all make a decent cameo appearance this week against the Giants, then will show up to star the next week against Cleveland.. We'll see.

I'm not going to say that Cincy is going to win, but I do think that their offense will make a return to respectability this week. The first week was awful, I'll admit that to everyone. But Week 2, well they played a football game in the middle of a wind storm. Mulligan for them. Now is the time that they get a little extra motivation. The media has been running them through the garbage, and if I'm Carson Palmer, I think I would have enough ammo from the national media to get my offense up for this game, at least. I don't have any kind of specific reason for feeling this way, but I do feel like deep down, Carson Palmer/TJhoush/ChadJohnson are gamers - and they can only take being the laughing stock for so long. Giants - 31 Cincy - 24 I'm still calling a Bengals loss, but Carson Palmer will remind you who he is this week.

I just got an update from Fantasy Index, and they do expect both Jordan and Maroney to be OUT. This is great news, he really has a chance to go off!

Palmer is going to surprise everyone this week.. I'm hoping anyway. I just pulled a trade off for him in a 2QB league, but I still can't decide whether to play him or Eddie Royal against New Orleans. Its sad that I would ever consider playing a WR over a QB like Palmer, but the Royal matchup might be too good to miss. I have Palmer in there right now, just on a sneaking hunch that he has a decent game, but its possible that I switch them back out.

Thanks for the word guys. Even if Jordan were to play, I'm thinking that Sammy Morris would still be a pretty decent play. With a game like this, there should be plenty of carries to go around..

First place? I hope that's sarcastic, because that group of 4 players doesn't look very imposing, at all. Not at this moment, anyway.

He didn't have a QB for most of the focking year. David Carr and Vinny T couldn't even throw the ball down the field, what do you expect? As soon as they gave the job to Matt Moore, he started flinging the ball down the field, and Steve Smith was effective. Steve Smith even started for me in the Super Bowl last year, helping me win because of Moore getting the start.
