But either way, they're stacking the box. Of course Frerotte can throw the ball better than Jackson, that's obvious. But what's also obvious, is that it really doesn't matter. When opposing defenses have to decide which method of attack they want to defend, they are going to pick the running game every single time. Teams would MUCH rather stop Peterson, while taking their chances with Frerotte, than the other way around. So like I said, they are stacking the box now - just like last year. The difference now, is that Peterson isn't putting up great numbers, even against the likes of the Lions and the Saints. This has NOTHING to do with the QBs, because as of right now, defenses are playing Frerotte the same as they did Jackson. So regardless of who happens to be the better passer, defenses are still going to key on Minny's top player - which is still Peterson, not Frerotte.
