  1. Well obviously it's smart to grab the back-up to your #1 and sometimes #2 RB. But some hand-cuffs are much more important than others. I thought it was a good question:

Who are this year's most important handcuffs?

Well I guess I just don't understand the question.

Wouldn't it be easier just to say which "Stud RB" is most likely to get hurt this year?

  2. Thank you for that worthless post

    Thanks for your worthless thread.

I think all handcuffs would be pretty obvious if you have been playing fantasy football, for I don't know, maybe a year?

    Yeah.

All Stud RB's and whoever is behind them on the depth chart.

  3. You are aware that those are not starting NFL CB's covering him in these highlights, correct?

    ICEMAN

Man, i wish you were my local NFL team's head scout, I've never heard such brilliant logic.

Barry Sanders ran against Non-NFL Linebackers, didn't he?

What about Marshall Faulk? He played at San Diego St, so he must have not been any good..

Randy Moss? Bah, he played against horrible competition.

    Jerry Rice?

    Walter Payton?

    Yeah... great points.

  4. [/b]Henry Chinaski on Holmgren and Alexander stating SA is fully recovered, "I mean really who would believe what the player and coach had to say? No one of course..."

Henry Chinaski on Matt Hasselbeck, "I think Hass will make a nice rebound"

So let me get this right. Hasselbeck is held out of a minicamp because of offseason surgery and you think he will make a nice rebound. Shaun Alexander plays the final nine games of the Seahawk season and a healthy Alexander fully participates in the same minicamp Hass was held out of, but Holmgren and Alexander are covering up his injury but Hass will make a nice rebound? :P

It doesn't get any better than that! You've be been pwned--game, set, match!

    Ha, ok...ready for this one?

I said I THINK Hass will make a nice rebound.

You act like S. Alexander being 100% is a fact. You've been pimping him this whole time..

For one, I never said anything was wrong with Alexander... I don't know if there is, or isn't.

But you are just SO sure that he is great, I just find it kind of funny, and yet kind of sad at the same time.

I just merely stated my opinion. Did I base that opinion off of anything Hass or Holmgren said? No of course not. It was MY opinion.

Are you Ok? Having home problems? Need someone to talk to? I'm sure someone on the Geek Board will gladly help you out.

But not me... Save your drunken rabmblings and incoherent dribble for them.

    Victory!

  5. AD is the future. They are not going to pound on him too much until the passing game is there again. They payed decent $$ for Taylor so they will use and abuse him the most.

Nope... Notice that this guy has Chester Taylor in his sig, and he just happens to be his best running back.

Looks like that opinion might just be a little biased...

I sure hope for your sake that is a redraft, because if that is a keeper/dynasty you are in trouble...

  6. No but I love your hypocrisy

    About what?

Dug a little deeper and found some more information from Rotoworld basically saying the same thing.

    http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/conten...articleid=28323

Torry Holt underwent knee surgery in late January, and isn't yet running at full speed. This would indicate it was more involved than a simple arthroscopy. Holt wasn't playing at full strength for parts of the last two seasons, so the surgery could be good news. But it could also mean a slow start to the year

Anyone have access to footballinjuries.com ? Adam Caplan is usually pretty solid with his injury info...

The link also has some division news as well...enjoy

They don't have anything of note. He is ranked #2 of all WRs, so I guess that says all that needs to be said.

  7. QBs will be odd this year..

I think either I attempt to grab Carson Palmer early... Or wait a VERY long time and roll with a pair of young QBs like Cutler/Leinart and try to play the matchups.

I really love C. palmer this year.... But I do not want anything to do with Brees, Bulger, or even Brady because of where they are going to be selected. I do not think that any QB is worth being selected in the first 4 rds other than Manning or Palmer. Its not that they are not worth it, but with the RB pool being so deep this year, it just doesn't make so much sense to me to force one of those QBs (other than the big 2) in the first 4 rounds.

Hasselbeck and McNabb intrigue me a little bit more in terms of a value pick, but I'm really not sold on either. I think Hass will make a nice rebound, but is he really going to be that much better than Cutler or Leinart? I'm not so sure.

And McNabb... Of course he can put up points. We all know he can... But he hasn't finished a season in what, 5 years? 6? Why would he start now? I was lucky enough to trade him off last year on one of my teams, but the other 2 teams I drafted him in really took a dive. I don't think I want to risk a high pick on him. He would be worth it in the late 6th/early 7th, but I just don't see him lasting that long.

  8. You should have taken Marshawn Lynch in the 3rd...

I'm not in love with having the Eli/PLax combo either.

It all depends who else was there in the 4th... But i would have prefered someone like Donald Driver, Javon Walker, Lee Evans, TJ housh.... Someone along those lines.

  9. I bet you also read that article that said Bowe may push Kennison for the #1 job. I have never been a big fan of Kennison, but the older LSU alum runs better routes and has more speed than Bowe. I think within a year or two Bowe has the talent to be the top Tiger, but that's a best case scenario.

I drafted Bowe as my first WR in a dynasty league rookie draft (I had the 5th pick), so I definitely like Bowe but he'll have to earn it during the season.I think he'll impress as a blocker and runner after the catch, but he'll still need to grasp the offense which will take more time than a season. Then again Michael Clayton sure looked good as a rookie <_<

I also think that Bowe will be the no.1 in KC this year. I don't see anyone that can match his skill level...

He is pretty polished coming out of college, so as long as he has his head on right-- I think he can make some noise.

KC has been dying to get a WR of any kind of talent in the last few years, Bowe is finally going to be that guy.

I would take a late round flyer on him in a redraft as a WR4 or 5... And in a dynasty league I would rank him slightly ahead of Robert Meachem, only behind Calvin Johnson... (as far as WRs go of course, not overall)

  10. Guys I like better than their ADP..

    Jay Cutler

    Matt Leinart

Matt Hasselbeck (has been very good value so far)

    Cedric Benson

    Adrian Peterson

    Marshawn Lynch

Marion Barber III (although he is being picked rather high)

    Jerious Norwood

    Javon Walker

    Lee Evans

    Santonio Holmes

    Reggie Brown

    Mark Clayton

    Devery Henderson

    Chris Cooley

    Ben Watson

  11. So you must have seen the xray of his collarbone and are assured he is 100% healthy

    I said talent.

Nice way to take things out of context... But you see there is just one little difference between you and I.

I am not a Minnesota Homer, I could personally care less.

But you on the other hand, are so blatantly biased for the Seahawks, that it just makes it impossible for you to make a level headed opinion.

    You lose.

  12. I like you Hank, you've got spunk. You can stay.

    Thanks

You said I was looking for high fives, which is not true. If you are an alias then you know that I've taken shiot here for indescretions - not looking for "way to go's" just letting it all hang out.

And no... I'm no alias. I've read this board for years.. But just never really got around to signing up.

But I just called it like I saw it....

You don't deserve a good woman, obviously.

    So that's basically it.

  13. I personnally feel they will use them like the saints are using Bush and Deuce.

Keep both fresh and less wear and tear.

I think this will be the case for a while... But Peterson is WAY more talented than any of those guys put together..

It will be really hard for him not to work his way up to 20 carries by the end of the season.

  14. Hey way to take your 143 posts and show you have no focking idea what the fock you are talking about.

I'm not even going to itemize your stupid comments. Come back when you know me and know what you are talking about.

    Thanks for playing

Oh wait.. Because I have 143 posts, that means I don't know when someone is a douche bag?

Maybe your wifes post count wasn't high enough? Was that the problem?

  15. No way you should keep McGahee over Addai.

    Your keepers should be:

    Reggie Wayne

    Joseph Addai

    Steven Jackson

Addai will be a top 5 pick this year, and probably for as long as Peyton is QB in Indy. Same goes for Reggie Wayne, he will be a top 5 WR for a while, even higher when Harrison retires.

And SJAx..he obviously is a lock.

I'm not sure why you would want to keep McGahee... The Ravens are an aging team, and when has the last time McGahee actually did something?

Wayne, Addai, SJAX, no doubt about it.

  16. I dont know my wifes - you'll have to look it up in your can thread - funny thing is I kinda remember you posting some other chick I was with at the time of that thread :( doesnt make me look to good huh ?

This current chick 36C ( I asked ) - posted it in a different thread, I know the rules

    Wow what a douche bag.

You know what this thread was really about?

It was really just a way to act like he felt guilty, but in reality just wanted to show off that he was actually with 2 different women at once.

It's obviously BS. I mean really..who comes to a fantasy football message board pretending to be guilty about cheating on his wife. He figured the general male population would give him congrats, instead he got a dose of reality.

He thought he might get an E-Hi Five.

Instead he just got a whole bunch of .. "you're a douche bag.."

    The consensus is correct.

    Douche.

  17. ITA

I can remember watching the Head Like a Hole video on 120 minutes, its was like midnight and that popped on.....it was like a revelation.... :(

We saw NIN play at the Grogg and Tanker in Baltimore like a year later.....$12 cover to get in, two drink min, I thought the building was going to collapse by the end of the show.....

    Damn... That's the $hit.

I've never been able to see them live....

I've gotten to see Tool twice, after Aenima and Lateralus--when they were actually good--but no Reznor.
