  1. Fantasy owners can relax

Alexander said he’s ready to bounce back from the first injury-shortened season of his NFL career.

The 2005 MVP running back is practicing without restriction, with no complaints about the foot he injured last season.

man do some fockin research before making yourself look like an arsehole :dunno:

    Steeler fan:

Living in the past, dreaming of the future, ignoring the present...

And the ultimate homer award goes to.....

Shaun Alexander kind of sounds like Marshall Faulk at the end of his career, don't you think?

  2. So is it their two best players or is it the team?

Or do you have a split personality and have no idea from post to post? My guess is you are clueless. the avg of the team is 28 on O and 27 on D. Thus, the TEAM is not old. So which is it? is it the team or is Alexander and Jones. :dunno:

Can you tell me what the average age of the offense is again? Or the defense?

    I must have missed it.

  3. Well have you ever donated any money to anything? I HIGHLY doubt it, but you sure are quick to trashtalk someone who just gave 10,000 dollars per family, so what if it's chump change to him, whens the last time you gave a homeless man some lose change out of your ash tray you pansy ass white boy

    :dunno:

    :dunno:

  4. Your original post said nothing about Alexander and Jones individually (30/33 respectively). You mentioned SEATTLE, which last time I checked played with more than two players. OBTW I mentioned Strong and Pollard because at 35 those two spike the avg age of the offense.

Maybe you need to be a little more specific instead of throwing out bogus generalities to make a bogus point. :dunno:

    Bogus point?

I said the team was getting older.

Their two best players are getting old.

    Bogus point?

    Right.

  5. Like Matt Jones for example...or Troy Williamson....

Someone should start a thread on people who were drafted based on their Combine Workouts

Matt Jones and Troy Williamson should have been 2nd day picks....PERIOD...then..wow they ran fast...WHO CARES!!!!!

    Mike Mamula.

Yeah. I remember Chris Mortenson writing a column saying that Matt Jones was going to be the best receiver out of that class. That turned out well...

  6. awesome point. I can remember not to long ago Des Moines being under water for a while. Tornado's in Kansas and NE, etc... Those folks get to work rather than ask the Govt/Insurance companies to come save them...

Yeah... People that get their houses ripped apart by a tornado just come out of pocket for hundreds of thousands of dollars to fix their home, right?

    Sure they do.

  7. awesome point. I can remember not to long ago Des Moines being under water for a while. Tornado's in Kansas and NE, etc... Those folks get to work rather than ask the Govt/Insurance companies to come save them...

No. Nothing has ever happened to this magnitude. 80% of the city lost their homes. When has that ever happened to a major city?

    It hasn't.

  8. congratulations on beating us in week 16 against our 8th string

im glad you get your information from the waterboy. you jack@ss. its pretty unfair when you get your info from the media. you only hear the bad $hit. and who day is the bengals. we are who dat. get your facts straight d!ckhead

f@ck em. where are you from anyway? im from the marrero area.

I grew up in marrero too... But have been living uptown for a while. In the process of moving back to marrero though, as we speak. Small world.

  9. I guess detroit, chicago, miami, atlanta, cincy are so much better. damn cincinattis football team brings up the crime rate just by themselves. you hear everything about new orleans because we are still in the spotlight. people are trying to come back but are getting screwed by their insurance companies. people like shovelhead are big talkers on a computer. probably sitting at mamas house wacking off to kiddie porn and trying to get a rise out of people. tell ya what heres my email address, if your team plays at new orleans this year. take a road trip and see things for your self. hell. ill give you a place to stay. dominator736@yahoo.com

I'm with you... But these douche bags just like to bash. They bash anything, and everything.

They even bash a man (Marquise Hill) after he died, just because they are hiding behind a computer screen.

    And we are the pricks?

    I think not.

I mean really...Think about how easy it is to gang up on one city. One city where most have never been... One city that is depicted to the nation that only wants to hear the bad.... Only the bad they can remember.

All they know about is Bourbon St, and the 9th ward...

But they never get to know The Marigny, and The Garden District, St. Charles Ave, Magazine St, The Riverwalk, what was the Lakefront...

All the beautiful parts of the city, that these douche bags will never know.

But phuck em, it's their loss.

They want to be insensitive to people that lost everything... even their families.

My life will never be the same because of Katrina, but according to them I probably just fall into the same category of murderers, rapists, drug dealers, just because I happen to be from NOLA.

But that is their loss. Their loss that their minds are so wired shut, that they can't form their own opinions, can't decipher between reality and fox news.

    Phuck em...

  10. By in this situation, do you mean Manning would never go by an Alias, give a woman herpes, give the finger to his home crowd, let a cousin live in his house in VA and run an illegal dog fighting operation or run for over 1,000 yards?

Yes, Peyton Manning is from New Orleans -- he has to be a horrible person.

  11. Actually, I've been to NOLA several times. I'm not sure what I stood out more; The rancid smell of decades old urine drying in every alley, the decaying infrastructure due to decades of corruption, or the crime rate.

Now, I can enjoy a little piece of that heaven since your kind came to MY town and upped the homicide, prostituion and drug dealing rates through the focking roof.

A stellar town you live in. Hopefully, Katrina washed out the urine smell. :wall:

You describe one street in the whole city, bourbon st. Where all the TOURISTS, like yourself, make it the way it is.

But in your narrow little mind, every street in the whole city must smell like urine.

Right, that's why we choose to live here.

That's why Trent Reznor, Anne Rice, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Archie Manning, Reggie Wayne have chosen to live here at one time or another.

They all enjoy the smell of fresh urine.

I hope you don't plan on choosing Peyton Manning this year, he has to be on the new Commish's radar-- I mean he is from New Orleans after all, he has to be a horrible person underneath it all. He is bound to be thrown in jail for drug use, rape, murder, or one of those other horrible things that only people from NOLA are capable of, won't he?

  12. Avg age on O= 28

    Avg age on D= 27

And you got your information where? :wall:

    (Pollard and Strong are 35)

(The oldest starting D player is Chuck Darby at 31)

Who said anything about average "o" ???

Their 2 best offensive players are Walter Jones and Shaun Alexander. How old are they?

Shaun is younger, but as running backs go -- he is definitley getting up there. Walter Jones has been in the league atleast 10 or 11 years...

Why did you fail to mention them?

But hey they don't matter. Pollard and Strong are the ones that really make a difference.

Anyone can twist stats around to their liking.

    Nice work.

  13. A bunch of pricks, sitting a thousand miles away, but they have all the answers....

    Right.

Yeah Katrina was the best thing that ever happened to someone?

    Yeah, that's what it was.

Everyone wanted to lose family members, homes, pets, and every other pucking posession they ever owned.

Yeah that's what we all wanted.

All you phucking pricks that never even stepped in my city... You've obviously gained so much insight from sitting on your asses watching fox news.

Keep believing what the mass media wants you to believe, there's a sucker born every second.

If every American were like G. Bush there would be ZERO crime and ZERO threat of terror in this great country. :wall:

    Hahahaha. Great.

Yeah, old dubya, what a great american.

    How many has he killed?

The little punk wants to walk over Iraq, when they "might" have nukes.

He puts his tail between his legs when N. Korea says they DO have nukes.

15 of the 9-11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, but we make money with them... "So eh, we'll just go to Iraq. The american people don't know any better anyway..."

    What a great guy...

    Open your phucking eyes.

  14. They signed RFA veteran corner Jason David to replace "toast" opposite Mike Mckenzie - huge upgrade.

They signed FA Brian Simmons to replace Simoneau at MLB - huge upgrade.

They signed Kevin Kaeveriwhatever to compete with Josh Bullocks at FS - small upgradge.

They signed Kendrick Clancy to add DT depth - always important.

The defense will be better, and we have arguably the best DE combo in Grant and Smith.

The offense is very young, you would hope that would mean it will improve. Acutally, I see not quite as good a year out of Brees, and a better year out of Deuce and Reggie. I see us moving up significantly from 19th in rushing from a year ago.

    I agree.

    The offense will be better.

Reggie was on the brink of being dominate in the second half of last year, so he will be that much better this year.

Deuce will be another year removed from knee surgery, so he will be improved.

Drew will have another year working with Colston, so that tandem will be improved.

By all accounts, Devery has looked like a new player this year. He always had the talent, but just somehow lacked the focus. So far this year he has really made the coaches take notice. He should be the WR2 on opening day, and it will be VERY hard to Meachem to overcome. Meachem has a load of talent, he really does. So hopefully this surgery won't set him back too much.

Needless to say, the offense will not be a problem.

Our biggest weakness last year was giving up the big play. We added 1 veteran corner mixed in with the 2 we drafted. One of them, Usama Young, has an excellent chance for serious playing time this year. He has already impressed the coaches, I expect him to be our nickel corner.

We signed the safety that you mentioned from Cincy, which will help, but getting Roman Harper back will be a really big improvement. He has come back from the injury way ahead of schedule, and will be a great improvement at safety. He really looked good, the few games we got to see him last year, so I am really excited about him being back.

With that said, Super Bowl lock? No. But the odds on favorite out of the NFC? I would have to say yes.

If we would have had that NFC championship game in the Superdome, I do believe the game would have been a completely different outcome.

The Bears still will be a force, but I think if we can get homefield advantage from them -- we will be really tough to beat.

Other possibly playoff teams, just seem to be a step behind.

Seattle seems to get older every year.

Philly has alot of talent, but I think McNabb's rehad might set them back a tad, and this year they don't have a dynamic backup when McNabb's annual injury comes rolling around.

I really like the 49ers as a young up and coming team, but they still are a year or two from making a real run. I do think they will make the playoffs this year, but they still are a couple of players away.

    So who else is there?

Cowboys? They have the talent, but what about Romo? Which guy is really him? If he is really the guy that initially took over, then they might have a chance.. But I'm not so sure.

NY Giants? They lost their best player in Tiki, and Eli still hasn't shown he really has it.

Falclowns? With the Vick fiasco, losing Schaub (what a mistake), and the new coaching system, I really don't think they have a chance.

Just my take on it, but I really do think that it's the Saints to take.

  15. :D

I agree, enough already with the katrina news

    Enough with the Katrina news?

Yeah... Is that what you said about 9/11?

Its the same difference. The city is nowhere near what it was, very expensive to live here, especially being that we didn't have that much money in the first place.

People are so misinformed about my city, I just wish everyone could come see it for theirselves-- then they wouldn't be complete douche bags when speaking about it.

  16. wow... you're pretty tough.

Why don't you just take them all on?

I'm sure that's what your fellow texan george bush would want you to do.

He is what every freakin american should be like.

    Douche Bags Unite.

  17. Makes no sense that your projection shows Alexander having more FF points than LJ, but LJ is ranked ahead of Alexander.

    Seems like a incongruity

No its more like he is giving LJ a higher ranking because he has more upside potential that Alexander.

Lj could very well go off, and have the most FF points for the year. He has that kind of potential. But he just feels that Alexander will probably score more, but LJ's upside just makes him a more sexy pick.
