  1. What is his worth moving forward?

Is it sufficient offer of A. Rodgers, R. Moss and B. Jacobs for Barber, F. Jones and an average receiver?

Before you call for the "A Little Help" board, this is a post inquiring the trade value of Barber in general, rather than anything specific on my roster. Just giving an example of a possible trade.

    That's not how you trade.

Are you even taking into consideration what this team with Barber, needs? Because you didn't mention anything about that, which is what you need to be asking yourself.

Besides.. Why would this guy trade one of the top FF RBs this year? I know I wouldn't.

  2. Henry, I enjoy your posts. Don't pay any attention to me. Between getting absolutely screwed this week in FF and having to deal with the Red Sox fans I know............hmmmmmm well, you know.

    Its all good dude..

I feel your pain.. But not this week!

  3. Lemme guess.........U R prob a Red Sox fan, too? That would be my luck today, considering I faced every possible high scoring individual fantasy player. I hope the focking Red Sox plane falls out of the sky! And, yes, I mean that. FOCK Boston.

    LOL.. What?

I'm from New Orleans.. Fock baseball.

  4. I wouldn't get too excited guys. This was a fluke performance if I've ever seen one.

He caught 2 passes all day.

A hail mary at the end of a half when the Texans were in prevent mode.

And his long TD he beat the worst CB on one of the worst secondaries in the NFL.

Smart owners would deal him NOW after this game. His value will drop like a stone from here on out.

Either way, he helped me win.

And I doubt I'm going to be able to trade him either, there just aren't that many good WRs this year, that I would be able to trade for.

The fact is, Calvin Johnson is the only decent WR on that team - just like Roddy White in Atlanta. So even if Detroit stinks it up all season long, Calvin Johnson will still have some decent opportunities - he's too good not to.

This is Orvlosky's second start, and its CJ's second game with a TD. So by all accounts, it looks like he's better off without Kitna and he's definitely better off without Roy Williams being there.

Besides.. How many WRs are having better seasons than him? Fitz, Marshall, Boldin, Andre Johnson, Terrell Owens.. And who else? Its not like anyone is going to trade any of those guys, so what WR would be available, that would actually be an upgrade over Calvin Johnson?

  5. add 2 more for the 2 pt conversion!

at least 17 points there for ya :overhead:

    WOW..

The leagues that I have him in, are performance leagues, where that TD was worth HUGE points..

    :( :wall:

  6. He is really on a tear; there aren't too many WRs that would be picked above him right now.

I realize that the Texans have had a pretty decent schedule these last few weeks, but their offense is really clicking right now.

I wished I would have bought low for A Johnson, but happy that I have him on one team.

  7. Im 6-0 with SJax as my 1st pick. He's just been saving the points for later in the season when I need them.

Jackson went into the locker room in the 4th quarter. Looks like some kind of groin injury. Just hope its not serious.

    Damn.. That's terrible.

  8. looks like we just got busted and thrown up against the wall by the thread police.

    let's get outta here.

Yeah.. I guess you think its perfectly OK to start a thread asking if LT, SJax or Slaton is hurt - just because they lost a focking carry.

    You can fock off too.
