  1. Opinions on productivity??? I think if he's productive, Dunn won't be a worry for long. What about Graham?

I'm in a dynasty league, so could hold onto him even if he doesn't get a full workload or the remainder of the season.

    Thanks for the thoughts.

  2. I'd make both of those trades, assuming it's a redraft league.

Warner has been very consistent and has really good receivers to throw to. McNabb hasn't been as consistent.

Marshall and Boldin compared are similar to me. I like Boldin's remaining schedule better, but I don't like that he's not the clear number one like Marshall is. Still, I think QB and schedule give him a little edge.

    Please see mine.

  3. I'd take it. You said it yourself... big upgrade at WR.

Fantasy football is about score differential. If you look at Jackson's production on average, it's not a lot different than Portis. They look quite a bit different because a fair bit of Jackson's production comes through the air. He's also had a bye and one injuty week.

Johnson gives you way more on average than Holmes.

  4. I'm solid at both positions without either of them... that said, who would you rather have long term and why?

The think I like about Smith is that he is physical and explosive. He's a fierce competitor and clearly Delhomme's favorite target. He gets lots of looks and will continue to get them. He also seems to perform no matter who he's playing against.

Looks like Forte is going to be one of those workshorse backs who gets the ball all over the field. He gets lots of touches and is a good receiver (which I like). And he's younger.

So, what do you all think? Thanks for the input.

  5. I wouldn't. Seems to me you're pretty much trading your 9th round pick for a 4th round pick and losing first round value.

I think the way to think about it is in terms of how much additional production you expect out of that extra 4th round pick vs your 9th and value you'd lose in your #6 pick.

Matter of preference re: what kind of team you like to build. Personally, I'd rather have the stud you can pick up at 1-6.

    Good luck.

  6. I've had Maroney for since his rookie season and think he's got good qualities, but don't know if his longer term production will be hampered by NE offense style and lack of 3rd down production.

I think I could trade him for a high enough draft pick to secure one of the top three rookie RB's.

Is Maroney worth keeping or are McFadden or Stewart better long term bets?

RB stable is solid, so I can gamble a little. Thanks for the input.

  7. It's a wash, I think. I'd keep the RB I like best and be happy.

Bush gets a higher % of the total plays and more red zone looks. Holt and Plax get about 14% of the plays each, but Holt gets more red zone looks.

The one thing I like about the trade is that the players are on different teams.

The advantage to SJax is that he gets goal line carries where Bush hasn't seen nearly as many.

So... no definitive answer from me, but hope the info is helpful to you.

    Please see mine.

  8. TE is for this week... do I play V.Davis or J.Shockey? Both seem to have decent potential this week.

Second (and maybe more importantly), in a dynasty league:

I currently have Roddy White. Getting lots of looks and is the clear #1, but his QB stinks. Chris Henry (Bengals WR) is available as a free agent. Which one will be the better choice long term?

Thanks for the help! Leave a link.
