I am not saying both made comments, but let's be honest. It would be like me making a comment about my brother. There is no doubt their relationship is very close. Everyone says stuff, I personally don't believe Manning had any intentions of putting down the Colts, but once you make a comment, the media will tear it a part and tell everyone all the different meanings it has. Manning could say, I hate cereal in the morning, I like a warm breakfest. The media would twist this into 20 different stories and secret meanings.

It doesn't matter what the scoreboard said. The team is responsible for knowing which down and there were reports he was called multiple times. So that is his fault for not listening. Even if the guy at the score board was trying something, how could he know that being a down behind would cause an issue. This one is actually pretty stupid.

I think it is more the type of person he is. I was highly impressed with how he handled the media. He wouldn't give them anything and quite frankly, put them in their place. Irsay likes being out in the media. I do believe the Manning decision will be Irsay 100%. But I do believe Grigson had a lot to do with cleaning house and has the other say in the new HC and DC.

I want to say congrats to the Giants and Pats for winning their games this past weekend. It should be a great SB game and honestly, two markets that should bring in a lot of money to Indiana. I don't think I could stomach Brady holding up the SB trophy in Indy, so I won't lie and will be cheering for Eli because big brother would want us to! But good luck to both teams.

I used to want Cowher, but he has done nothing but bash the Colts. Granted, a lot of his losses came from Manning when playing us, but he has never said anything good. Honestly, I want a person that will come in liking what we have to work with and doing something with it. And I assumed gocolts was talking about that year his son died, we had a team that should have went to the SB. But I also agreed, it changed him. I completely understand why it changed him, but his heart just wasn't there.

If they can actually get a good DC, then the HC could be more offensive minded. It just depends on the DC. Now, if they don't get a strong person for it, I agree, a defensive minded HC would make a lot more sense.

Trading Manning I don't believe is possible. If they pay him the signing bonus, I believe most of it counts against our salary cap, which would not help us at all. If we pay him, he stays and plays. Irsay takes Luck to sit behind Manning.

Personally most of us feel his game planning and questionable calls the last three years have been what has done it. He was completely outcoached and the team was not ready for that SB loss to the Saints. I truely believe, had Dungy been the coach, we would have won that game. Caldwell this year, we gotta get better. That is all he would say. I just don't think a HC job was what he is good at. He is a great guy and maybe a good QB coach, but that might be about it.

I am excited, yet not happy because Fisher already signed with the Rams! I just don't know who else I would want.

Not official yet, but he had his second interview yesterday and rumors are running wild today he will be the next man. I have tried finding information about him and so far, limited on what I see. Any Eagle fans have input? Anyone else? Sounds like he has a lot of potential from what I have read. NOW, will he take the step and fire Caldwell right away and bring in Jeff Fisher? Yes, I am still hoping we are the mystery team and that is why he is stalling.

NP, helps to learn about the guy from someone that knows that org better, so thanks for all the input. Anytime a team goes through these changes, you never know what is going to happen.
