I did, I looked at NFL.com http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/playoff-picture and saw it on ESPN that Pats were number 1. Not sure what CBS is showing.
-
Everywhere I see, they are listed 2nd or 3rd. Where do you see that they are the top? They are currently tied with 3 other teams at 9-3.
-
They finally have figured out how to finish games this year, which has been an issue with them for a while. And now they get the reward. Not sure how well they might do in the playoffs, without Schaub, it isn't going to be easy.
-
No this year, they decided to rest everyone and just not win. That way, next year they will be rested.
-
Irsay and the Colts don't have an issue with this. And I heard it wasn't going to be that much. I would have to find it though. Plus, he could restructure that into a bonus and such and save cap room, if he came back. If Manning were to play this year and I would have no doubts that he wouldn't mind, it would only be to see him in action and would be the last game of the season. I don't think it will happen, but that would be my best guess. He got good news this week and is now able to start doing more, including throwing the ball. He has to get is body back into shape for doing such and he pretty much said that. So honestly, just being able to see him throw balls over 20/30 yards soon would be encouraging.

Larry Coyer is out...At least it is a start. Should be intereting to see how Mike Murphy does as the DC. If nothing, I wonder who they bring in. Now, if they would get rid of the HC also. I know, if Manning can't even practice the rest of the year, Caldwell is fired and Manning is named HC for the rest of the season!
-
He has been a non-factor most of the year. Granted, the QB play could be a part of that, but Garcon has had a better season.
-
He had Manning in a SB and found a way to lose and had Manning last year in the playoffs and found a way to lose.
-
Isn't that the scary part?

Very well said!

So you agree, Caldwell should be fired for doing the same with Painter!
-
It wasn't denial about his injury. I just don't jump out and make claims on things I don't know anything about. Once the official word came out, is when I believed it was worse. I don't jump the gun. Just my style. The Colts have talent on the team, they just need to fix things starting with the coaching. We we barely lost that first game, we had it won, Manning got us the points, our special teams lost that game for us. And unlike the Packers, we didn't have the talent on the bench to over come all the injuries. We have a few holes after this years draft, as I really feel we addressed some finally. I don't see why trading Luck would benefit anyone, except for fans that don't want the Colts to have a good QB again.
-
We didn't have the salary cap for Orton. Polian did say they had looked into trading for him earlier this season though, but most likely didn't wanna pay the asking price. Too much went into Collins and he did nothing.
-
Couldn't agree more! He has been outcoached multiple times. And does nothing to motivate his players. I personally believe Luck would be happy to join the Colts. And if Manning can stick around, he would learn from the best ever. And for the person that said we aren't a contender even with Manning back, we have always been one with Manning.
-
Jets, Oakland, Miami, Redskins, Buf, Minn to name a few. Irsay knows what Manning has meant to the Colts. He would have no problem letting him play next year if Manning and the Colts think he can. You are correct though, we don't know how the surgeries might affect his playing abilities, but hopefully some changes they make looking at how aweful this team is without him, will help. Like a running game again. Maybe some bigger defensive players. And...a new coach! haha
-
If only the Colts would follow suit and fire Caldwell!
-
If Manning can play, there is no way he doesn't stay with the Colts. He has said in the past, he wants to stay here. If he wanted to go somewhere else, even with his neck issues, he would have left this year. This isn't new news. He said this at the beginning of November that Dec 1st was the day we would know a lot more. Which is why we have all been waiting to hear. I know a bunch of you would love for him to retire, only because you wouldn't have to face him anymore, but if you are a true football fan, you would like to see him play a few more seasons.
-
I think he should be suspended at least 2 games. Hopefully that will make him realize, he needs to take it down just a bit. You don't have to be a ###### to be a good football player.
-
If choice couldn't win any job in Washington, how does it do it in Buff?
-
Darren Evan's was waived again, so there is a good chance he can play. The question is, does he start or is he just used as a backup. The bye week, the Colts also added a FB, which is unusual and they have kept him, so there is a good chance, they plan to run the ball a bunch? Plus, I don't see Painter starting.
-
Colts get their first win!
-
So, for your comments, lets ask... Is Manning a better: Head Coach? QB Coach? Offensive Coor? Defensive Coor? I think Offensive personally.
-
He would, that is the type of person that Manning is. Painter just sucks, if Manning didn't care, he would not be on the sideline trying to help the team right now. He is down there helping Painter.
-
I could see this, this is harder for Pats fans than it is for Colts fans.
