  1. With the way those guys were picking, I would have wanted in that draft and made them put in some money! Easy win!

    Jonathan Stewart/Deangelo Williams

Something else to consider on both sides of the ball. Steve Smith is suspended for the first two games, which means: 1. Carolina might try and run more with both backs. 2. Teams might stack the line and force Carolina to beat them with the pass.

    Is this illegal/collusion?

I agree with the others. Looks like the commish is just mad. As a commish myself, how can I be mad if other owners go and take the defenses before me. It is my own fault for not grabbing one and if I wait to the end, how can I moan and groan about what is there. If he freezes, I would get everyone to quit the league and create a new one with a new commish with the same teams, minus him.
  4. I have you all beat.....Newbie to FF I believe....In our live draft. TAKEN AT 1.3 .......................CHICAGO BEARS DEFENSE!

    Kevin Smith

I grabbed him in my draft hoping he can pay off and become a solid RB for me this season, even though he is a rookie. I think they have enough WR's that will make teams be honest with the run and he is supposed to start. Maybe he will be my steal in my draft. I need RB help and he is who I drafted, so go Kevin Smith!

    Colts Offense

Now that would be intersting, Just what Culpepper needs to get is career going again, stacked WR's, TE's and RB's. Of course, they would have brought him in sooner if this was the case. Sorgi isn't Manning, but I do believe the weapons can make him a decent option at QB.

    He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Where San Diego has been a pain for the Colts the last couple seasons, they can beat them. I mean, the regular season game, look how bad they played and they still only barely won due to Vin missing a field goal. Manning had 6 int and still they couldn't close them out. Playoff game, we should have won that one. We just didn't play well and honestly, if the Colts didn't have the injuries they had last year, San Diego wouldn't have won either game.

    He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Well....Two points. Once, we don't have a MLS team and two....Manning will have at least two more rings!

    Is this collusion?

Depends on their teams. But I wouldn't have traded Westbrook for those two.

ESPNEWS Reporting Favre Traded to JETS

Should be an interesting division now. NE has to worry more about the Jets! WOOT!

    The bottom feeders

I believe they will finish last in their division, no QB, Not a good offensive line and no RB or WR's. About like the bears, but I have more faith in Lovie Smith.

    The bottom feeders

And people said that about the Gaints beating the Pats in the super bowl.

    The bottom feeders

As long as they don't trade for Farve, Jets

My AFC / NFC - playoff prediction for 08

Ok, so your gut tells you a team 9-7 goes to the playoffs, which means you think the Colts will be like a 8-8 team, WHICH by the way hasn't happened since Dungy? Yes, you think the Chargers and NE are locks? And Jacksonville has a good defense, yet Indy beat them both times last year and honestly, their offense isn't that good to beat Indy's Defense. BTW, didn't Indy have the top rated Defense last year? They have pretty much the same people, which will mean they will be better than Jacksonville. So...I guess I don't see your logic here. Sorry, Indy is my team and if NE is a lock, Indy is a lock also.

My AFC / NFC - playoff prediction for 08

You have 7 teams that didn't even make the playoffs last year and some didn't even come close. Oh yeah, You are wrong about Indy. They make the playoffs. I would like to know your thoughts on these.

    Marvin ready to go?

As long as Manning is throwing and Wayne is taking the double coverage, yes, he will perform.

    Romo or Brees

Well, I was going to respond to you, but since you are just a cowboy hater, I don't see the point. Pick Brees, I will take Romo and I bet the rest would be histroy for my team, while yours fails.

Packers file tampering charges against Vikings

Well, they were marching against the front office. So I must know something.

Packers file tampering charges against Vikings

As this drama continues, I think GB is going to have a horrible year, due to all the drama this is causing for the team and fans. I have a feeling fans might take it out on this years team and be a huge distraction for them.
  20. mzf5c5

    Romo or Brees

Romo slumped off at the end of the season, which is maybe why Brees had more completions, but I would take Romo over Brees, due to having a much better team right now. Dallas is making a HUGE push for superbowl this year and have a pretty stacked team.

What team will FAVRE play for in 2008?

How can the NFLPA FORCE a team to release a player that is under contract with a team?
  22. mzf5c5

    Eli stands alone

Yeah, but how good would it feel to see the Pats not make the playoffs....Highly unlikely, but still, would that not be funny?

What team will FAVRE play for in 2008?

Let's face a few facts.... Number 1: I would bet my next paycheck that the Packers will NOT allow Farve to play for any team in their division. How stupid would that be? I mean, honestly. And yes, they can control this. Also, they would keep him as a backup to Rodgers if anything else. Number 2: If Farve does come out, he will NOT settle to play for a team that isn't a contender. Let's face it, he isn't coming back to help a team rebuild. And him alone, can not take a team to the superbowl. Number 3: If they do let Farve come back to the Packers and let him start, my guess is, you will have locker room drama that isn't needed. A lot of Packers have already said they have moved on. It would be stuipd to bring him back to the Packers to start, no matter who he is. He would be a backup if anything to Aaron. NOW, if Aaron doesn't do well, you can bet a few games in, Farve would be starting. So, with those two facts....... If he does come back, from the teams listed above...The Bucs would make the most sense of a team to land.

    Thoughts on DeAngelo Williams?

Baring any injuries, I see Williams starting the season as the starter. Sorry, not many teams will start a rookiee RB, unless they don't have any other choice. They have Williams and honestly, I think it is his job to lose. If he plays well, Stewart will be a backup/fill in. If he has issues or gets injured, you might see Stewart taking more carries by week 6 or 7.
