    Colts Clean House Again!

I personally believe they are trying to start clearing up some cap room, mostly that will be next year, so they can start either bringing in a few big defensive people through FA and also start drafting said players in the draft. I don't think they want to keep investing big money into just one or two players, instead, trying to invest it in many players.

    Colts To Let Manning Walk

I see Miami, Ari or Seattle being the landing spots. Houston and SF would be number 1, if they didn't already have a QB invested, but if one of those teams were to dump who they had, Manning would fit with either of those teams and most likely be MVP next year, Come back player next year and SB MVP.

NFL: Saints put out bounties on opposing players

It should be. This is far worse than what the Pats did.

NFL: Saints put out bounties on opposing players

I think it is when you are TRYING to hurt or completely end a players career. I mean, if Greg saw Peyton Manning or Farve on the street, he would have probably stabbed them or done something to them, just to win. Why not just beat them in the game, without being a cheap person. Where Belichick was caught using camera's to cheat, he wasn't out trying to HURT and completely take out players in a game. I think it is worse in my opinion. If I was a player in a sport, I would want to win no doubt, but to want to hurt another player would never cross my mind. Accidents happen, but to take out a player and possible end his career or make him a cripple the rest of his life is horrible. How would Mr Williams feel if he got hit a few times from some players, with what he told his players to do? I will even give him full pads.

NFL: Saints put out bounties on opposing players

For the people that claim they are for it. I have no idea what you are for? Breaking rules? So are you ok with people shooting people? Robbing stores? Breaking the laws? Because if it gives them that extra push to do something in life, they should just do it, right? Plain and simple, the Saints broke rules and should suffer for it. Fines and lose of draft picks will hurt them. Williams needs to be banned from the league to make a statement. You make the statement that you are gone for good, guess what. You don't have as many people trying to do it. I like Sean Payton but I don't know the GM. But if they were told to stop it and did not, once again, they should be fined or even suspended somehow for a short period of time. Once again, proving a point, if you have knowledge of and don't do anything about it, you will get punished. I like how people are all about breaking the rules, until it affects them. Funny how that is.

    RG3 rumors ...

Heck, with that offer. The Colts should let them have Luck!

    Mark my words......

Depends. Is Manning on the team? But most likely, yes, I would hope so in the current situation.

    Mark my words......

My guess is, this guy is talking about playing NFL madden football on the xbox on cheat mode. Which would be the only way this makes it true.

    Any Colts Fans

Reggie and Mario were different, because they were different positions. Texans went Defense, rather than Offense and actually made the better pick. I would be stunned if the Colts took RG3. It would have to be something happens to Luck between now and then.
  11. He may have liked Bill, but I do believe he hated Chris. I also don't know if he really was all that impressed with Clyde either. Countless times you can see pictures of him questioning him. Honestly, Manning should be happy with the new coach and new OC. Both are what he has needed. Defensive minded coach and an OC that is successful and pass happy. What more could he want??? He moves to another team, let's face it, he won't have the control of the offensive he had in Indy. I don't see any of those teams just handing it off. Plus, I don't care who you give him, it will take him at least 2 years to get into a system somewhere else and if he has 3 years left, that really only gives him one to try and do anything. I don't see him going to the Jets, I don't think he would want to be in the same city as his brother and honestly, some Jet fans/players might not like it, which can cause drama, plus the season ending, the Jets locker room is horrible atm. He has a better chance of being successful here. And let's face it, Houston changed to 3-4 and went from one of the worst, to top 5? In one year. We could also, and they didn't have the players for a 3-4 either. I don't care what anyone says about Luck. All the stuff is just guessing and speculation. Luck could come out and be the next Ryan Leaf, Russell, Couch and the list goes on and on and on, on all these QB's that were going to be the next great thing. Luck has proven he can play in College. Let me be wrong, GREAT! But let me be right and we are screwed for years to come! And the Colts seats will be empty and tickets won't be worth a hotdog at the stadium. And what will crack me up, if Luck does suck, all these guys that said he was the next Elway, will be bashing him and saying, I did have my doubts, I knew he was going to flop, blah, blah, blah like all the media people do. They are the biggest two face people on the planet. haha Yes, I know you are somewhat involved in media. But I like you. Saturday and Wayne might stay only if Manning does, so if he is gone, they are also. I agree with you 100% about Freeney, but I don't think letting him and Mathis go would be smart. We need to keep at least one of them, but Freeney needs to restructure for the team. He will still get paid.
  12. I think if Manning is willing to get another team an incentive contract, where he has to prove stuff to get paid, he should be willing to do the same for the Colts. If he would do that, I would have NO problem with us keeping him. Even if you are in rebuild mode, you need to keep around leaders. You can just dump your entire roster and start over. You need leaders, play makers and someone to put fans in your seats, otherwise they won't be coming until some of these new guys prove themselves. Plain and simple...LUCK HAS NOT PLAYED IN THE NFL. I don't care what anyone says about him. I am fine with us drafting him, but dang it, he isn't a HOF QB nor has he been the icon for not only the Colts for the last 13 years, but the city of Indy. If there is a small hope of keeping Manning and letting us rebuild in other areas, do it. If not, then release him and you better hope Luck doesn't flop. As far as who stays and who goes, depends on Manning first off. As it seems most likely Manning won't be back, I would see Saturday retiring and moving into the front office of the Colts. Wayne is pricing himself out in my opinion and I really don't see anyone paying him the money he thinks he deserves, but I have seen other people get paid and not be worth it. I think you keep Clark if you are going with a new QB, you need to give him a few proven people and even without Manning, when healthy, Clark isn't bad. Garcon is not a bad number 2 and Collie is your slot guy, but if Wayne goes, you need to look at FA's for that number one or draft one in the second round to come in and learn with Luck. I think we can keep Addai, Brown and Carter in the back field, unless there is a FA you can grab, then dump Brown and Addai. As for defense, Freeney needs to restructure, or I would rather dump his contract and keep Mathis. I really want us to keep both, but with our new defense, I don't know what these two guys want. We might as well keep Brackett as a leader on D, because we don't save anything against he cap if we dump him. Put Brackett and Angerer in the middle, move to the 3-4 and figure out who you want to be your outside guys. I understand most of what you say above and trust me, like most fans, we would just like to know. I am tired of the media making EVERYTHING one of them does into a circus story and it would be better to just know, but I doubt we do until closer to March. But Manning can still be a Colt, if certain things were to come about. But I doubt they would.

    ***Ask redtodd anything***

Well, I am hoping with the possible chance of a 3-4 defense and maybe some play makers on def, the offense doesn't have to do as much and we can win games still.

    ***Ask redtodd anything***

It is all good! I enjoy going back and forth with you. Except, it might not be a while before I have any good Colts information! haha Unless Luck lives up to what everyone says he is.

How Scary Would the Pats be with....

About the same when they had Moss. 18-1! haha

    Can we make it official

Brady is a good QB. But he is no longer allowed to be considered the GOAT. Peyton and Eli are both better.
  18. mzf5c5

    Feast on this Belichick haters...

Eli doesn't have any * next to any of his wins or MVP awards! Brady can't win the big one, without his coaches knowing what the defenses are going to send at him. Brady blew it, again! Brady has choked his last two SB's and one that should have been 19-0!

    Feast on this Belichick haters...

Well, this guy will never post here again! Enjoy buddy! Hope you like the losing team.

    Rodgers MVP

I am glad he got it. I really felt he deserved it. Props to Newton and Brees also.
  21. mzf5c5

    Brady & Belicheat

In respect, they don't suck. If they made it to the SB, they did something right. They might not have the best all around defense, but they can still win it. Granted, I want them to lose and not win in Indy, but they don't suck.

Why would the Colts CUT Manning?

We don't need another thread about Manning, so I will post this here. Reports are coming out that two doctors, one being the last one to do a surgery on Manning, have medically cleared him to play. We don't know his arm strength, but his neck is officially not an issue anymore in terms of playing. Manning is pretty much leaving everything in Irsay's hands on what he does.
  23. mzf5c5

Why would the Colts CUT Manning?

Maybe....Who knows, they might take it all the way to March. The media is putting way to much stuff out there and trying to disect everything both Irsay and Manning says, and trying to get anyone to say anything.

    Pats cheating again?

Can you please provide DOCUMENTED proof that every single team did the SAME exact thing as the Patriots? When you have this, please post on the board again.

    Feast on this Belichick haters...

Actually, a lot of Pat fans are telling you how dumb you are. I think that speaks volumes, as they couldn't agree more with you on how they love the Pats. They just choose to do it different.
