Looking to stack my bench with best FA RB
sirwinzalot replied to treewarden's topic in FFToday Board
Matthews can't get it done and can't stay healthy, I'll go Tolbert. -
Wish I had something to complain about, but I have Direct TV, and will be watching the game tonight, and every other game that's played in the NFL. "I can't watch the game" boo freakin hoo, quit your bitchin and do somethin about it.
-
He'll be back, doesn't matter what their record will be, nobody likes to sit the bench.

Yahoo weather says no rain in Green Bay. Whew! had me worried.

WDIS? Need 2 out of Benson, Blount and Woodhead
sirwinzalot replied to smartgenius's topic in A Little Help!
Seems like the Browns are descent against the run, I see Woodhead getting alot of screens in this game. I'm starting him over Thomas Jones for what's it's worth. -
People out of the playoff race ruining league
sirwinzalot replied to Gandalfthecat's topic in FFToday Board
Hey let's screw the teams that do well, and keep the bad teams alive longer. What a horrible setup, so basically in your league look for playoff matchups and draft accordingly cause the season don't mean nothin. Hell why not let everybody in the playoffs and start it week 1. These league's suck. Then again I'm not a loser, so I guess if I was, I'd be all about this setup. My league won't tank games, they know I'll kick'em out, and bring someone else in. -
I dont ever VETO but this trade is uneven..
sirwinzalot replied to eaglesfreak's topic in FFToday Board
depending if there was a sign of collusion or something considering their rosters, if both teams come out better then it's a fair trade. I think TJ has more value than either receiver, because WR's like Crabtree, and Smith are a dime a dozen. If it helps both teams, there's nothing wrong with an unbalanced trade, sometimes it takes more than trading one guy to get another owner to consider the trade. I don't believe an NFL commish would stop a trade if it was helping both teams, so what the hell? -
I've already learned my lesson this year with Megatron, and I don't bench him. Jet's didn't shut down Jennings last week, and they apparently don't use Revis against certain players, they leave him on one side of the field. How many times have we seen Megatron double covered and still goes up and snags a TD.
-
I snagged him too, I got Brees on a bye next week. But with the addition of Moss, could the Titans go with Collins, since he's got the long ball?
-
Hello Randy Moss, I think CJ just got better.
-
I got Megatron and Jennings in right now, but it's hard to ignore Boldin, who would you sit?
-
no Thomas Jones?
-
Anybody from the CHIEFS, schedule is SWEET!
-
He does have to win in the end to go first in the draft which is not guaranteed, and with the setup of your league, he has full right if that should happen. I think putting a max on how long you can keep a player is not needed. I have no max rule in my league, and every year the same teams don't dominate either, so I don't see that rule being necessary. The NFL can keep players longer than 3 years, why different in fantasy? In my keeper league, I've set it up to where you have to win two games at the end to get that first draft spot for the next year.
-
I'm a commish of a keeper league for several years now, we keep three players, choose three, keep three. No giving up draft spots for your keepers. Pretty simple. I know alot of keeper leagues do it that way, but I never really liked it, it's not done in the NFL like that, so why in fantasy? Seems like it just complicates the game when it's not needed.

I'm never drafting two RB's in first 4 rounds again.
sirwinzalot replied to mgs316's topic in FFToday Board
I'll never draft two rb's in the first four rounds again, Chris Johnson, and Arian Foster are killin me. -
Is Emmitt Smith truly a top 10 ever Running back?
sirwinzalot replied to The Moz's topic in FFToday Board
Emmit was a stud in Arizona as well. AHAHAHAHA! -
I benched him too, but at least I had Boldin, Jennings.

I was just watching Percy Harvin's kickoff return on you tube, and I noticed after the touchdown, there was a vikings player that actually jumped over him in the endzone, Dallas was just penalized for this exact thing, but yet no flag when the vikes did the same. Dallas should be pissed about this. BTW I hate the cowboys, but they've been getting screwed the last two weeks on celebrations that are uncalled for. I'm tired of refs throwing so many flags, it's really getting out of hand. I'd like to see more celebrations in the NFL, the more fun there is on the field the more fun it is for the fans. Here's the link, watch the end of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aotu7mcNusQ
-
Okay I admit I drew the conclusion that Harvin was also jumped over by that video I saw, however I did find a better video with the full celebration, and he didn't jump over Harvin, on top yes, but not over, so it wasn't exactly the same. My bad.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfpXHvgWkSk
-
Don't have a clue? Do you not see the guy coming in and jumping over Harvin when the vid gets cut? Sorry if I don't see a difference, but yet for the vikings it's a guy jumping over another guy after a td, how is that any different? Please enlighten me with your wisdom ole wise one, so that I can see the errors of my ways.

Do you bench MNF starter if your win is in the bag?
sirwinzalot replied to wreckincrew's topic in FFToday Board
Just play'em, in twelve years of this stuff I don't recall a defense ever scoing negative points, that and if your league relies on overall points to determine tie breakers. -
I want celebrations back, it just makes the game more entertaining, the last two weeks with the cowboys celebrations were ridiculous, however happy you react to scoring a touchdown, should have no way of effecting the game itself with boneheaded penalties that have nothing to do wit the game itself. I believe a good football commisioner would want to know more about what the fans of the game want and put it to a vote.
-
I got to bench him, he's banged up, they play the Giants which are one of the best against the pass, so I'm goin Boldin, Jennings.
