  1. From what I have heard Vince Young is really struggling learning the playbook. At Texas they only ran a total of 7-8 plays and Young just improvised. Keep an eye on this situation for sure.

That is funny...I heard the exact opposite. I heard he is progressing quickly.

By the way, Texas ran more than 7-8 different plays. That is an ignorant statement at best.

  2. Vince: Sp...sp...spl

    Norm Chow: Split.

    Vince: Split. Le...leeeee...

Norm Chow: Left! Split Left! G'dammit, why did I let you guys draft this moron over Leinart?

Vince: Ain't no pictures in this book!

Leinart couldn't carry Young's jock. I loved watching that little sissy cry because he was selected 7 picks after the best QB in the draft. It was priceless to see his reaction....."Dude, like I can't believe like my old coach doesn't like totally love me. I am like sooooo good looking and I am friends with N Sync which is like totally awesome. Even though Texas is like the National Champions and Vince like totally played the greatest game in college football history, I am like still the better like QB. They should like be able to totally see that, especially since I am like so cool. That is it, I am like taking my ball and going home...to Nick."

    Young will revolutionize the game.

  3. This year my league has decided to keep an extra player. LT2 is my every year keeper; however, we cannot have two RB keepers. I have never had to consider using any other position as a keeper.

Who holds more value as a keeper...a QB, WR, or TE (Palmer, Fitzgerald, Gates)? I tend to draft WRs first but Palmer was incredible for me last year.

  4. All I know is that burnt orange makes me puke.

Are you still waking up in the middle of the night scared and shaking? Don't worry, you will get another dose of the burnt orange next year.

By the way, why does ou have a paper clip on their helmet? Is it because an ou grad is almost qualified to get a position as a secretary? :D

  6. They would probably agree they're both a couple of queer teams from the lamest state in the union and just have a big redneck orgy at the 50.

Normally, I would not even respond to something like this but today it really rubbed me the wrong way.

    Go fu@k yourself Nancy.

  7. Unless USC or Texas stumbles, VT is gonna be on the outside looking in.

i doubt it...the quality wins will be on the side of VT.

the ACC is much tougher than either the little 12 and the wac-10 :wall:

Sorry Hokies, but if Texas wins out and USC wins out, it's USC and Texas for the glass football. No way around it.

Yes, the Big XII is weak this year. Part of the problem is UT keeps beating teams so badly.

texas's schedule is as soft as they come...

Exactly how many top 10 teams has VT beaten this year? That's what I thought. Texas has proven that they should be a top 2 team...period.

  8. How many points did the Red Raiders "hang" on Cal last year? Yes, the same Cal team that almost took down the media darlings and THOUGHT they deserved to play in a BCS bowl game.

We will see how many points USC "hangs" on Texas' defense. Be careful though, Texas' offense is just as good as USC's and the Trojan defense flat out suck$. It will be a fun game to watch.

  9. Texas plays in the mighty Big 12 while USC plays in the Pac-10....enough said. :pointstosky:

LMAO..........outside of the Longhorns........there's not a team in the Big 12 that finishes TOP THREE in the Pac 10.

Give me a break. Outside of USC and MAYBE UCLA, nobody in the Pac 10 would finish in the top three in the Big 12 where defense is actually played. Oklahoma gave that game to UCLA...the same team that went to overtime with BAYLOR and we don't need to reminded what Texas Tech did to Cal.

  10. Texas deserves to be #1 based on THIS year's game resume. Texas has dominated every team they have played except when they played Ohio State...at the Horeseshoe...at night, while USC has struggled against Arizona State, Oregon, Arizona, Notre Dame and, for a half, Washington. Outside of Notre Dame, who lost to the same Michigan State team that got whipped by Northwestern, all of those teams are average and/or terrible.

Don't forget, Texas Tech is the "overrated" team that kicked the $hit out of Cal last year.

Ultimately, it won't matter as long as they play each other.
