Ronnie Brown and LJ....

Recommended Posts

So, these two cats are my backups. Put up 19 and 17 on my bench. I have Alexander and Dunn as my starters, who are on bye next week. Why on earth couldn't Brown and LJ put up these points next week? Any chance they will? KC plays DS, Miami plays Saints.....

Thoughts? I like Ronnie a lot in Miami now, he is clearly the starter over Ricky. Well done young chap...

i wouldnt say Ronnie is clearly the starter

he has done more but has only gotten a few more touches per game

Ricky could easily have gotten the TDs instead....

he does seem to be a viable flex option though which im still glad about

So Ricky could have busted that 65 yard TD? Wow, his 8 yards last week to Ronnie's 60 something and his -1 yards this week to Ronnie's 90 something.... SURE, they could easily have been reversed.......

all im saying is had Ricky gotten GL touches last week, it could have been easily reversed

i just saw the run by Brown and it was impressive

the big thing though is Ronnie isnt getting many more touches than Ricky

if Saban decides t ospell Ronnie at the GL, Ricky would seem to be the better back because you are treating this from a fantasy perspective

i honestly havent seen either game but Ricky is still getting a lot of chances

enough so that Ronnie isnt the clear starter

fantasy wise, Ricky is useless but Ronnie isnt untouchable......

That's the big problem with this equation.

Ronnie Brown >>>>>>>>>>> Ricky Williams.

Sammy Morris >>> Ricky Williams at this point as well.

But Saban is going to keep putting the guy in the backfield, because he's just dumb. Throw in crap playcalling like passing on both 2nd and 3rd and 1 with the game still close and Ronnie being the only piece of the offense worth a damn, and you just don't have the recipe for an every week starter quite yet unless your league starts 3 RB's.

I repeat - Saban is dumb.

Ronnie Brown >>>>>>>>>>> Ricky Williams.

i hear that

the thing is, this is the most true RBBC in the NFL right now and people dont see it for what it is because Ronnie is doing more with his carries.....
