texasmouth 1 Posted October 24, 2005 The difference between 4-3 and 5-2 looks like only one game but in reality it is a huge differance! The Cowboys were one field goal away from a share of first place, 5 wins and a place among he elite in the NFC. Nope. A 29 yard field goal was missed by last weeks hero Jose Cortez. a 29 yarder? No kicker in the NFL misses a 29 yarder right? He will be lucky to be employed next week. So, now the Cowboys sit at 4-3 with no where to go but up. Next weeks game is against the Cardinals who the Cowboys have owned for years. After that game, the bye week. The Cowboys would be sitting at 6-2, riding high in the saddle, ready to head to the worst place on earth if you are a Cowboy (Philly).......instead, the Cowboys are 4-3, staring .500 right in the face. Jose Cortez....oh how you mock me. Good ridence to you.
