Giants Fan 85 Posted April 30, 2006 Quoted already as saying he looks forward to beating up on his brother Santana, and the Redskins "twice a year." Unless there is a WR free agent signing, he should see some time as a rookie. He's MUCH faster than Plax or Toomer ... we'll see him in pre-season for sure. Yeah .. sure .. big huge DE pass rusher, like Ernie says, "You can't have too many pass rushers." but Moss .... I'm happy. Tomorrow ... we draft a CB ... and a SS. Giants Fan 85 Posted April 30, 2006 Also ... with all the money invested in one guy, that just returns kicks ... Moss can return kicks too. Nobody wants Tiki returning kicks again. Right? I remember yelling at the screen ... "WTF are you doing having Tiki return punts!? Remember Jason Seahorn?" ... but Tiki has been durable, thank God.
Giants Fan 85 Posted April 30, 2006 For those of you that don't remember, Seahorn was the only white CB in the league (has there been one since?) and I'm not saying Giants brass were racist ... but they mighta been ... and he wanted so bad to return kicks, and he was an amazing athlete ... but also a little bit of a poosay, pretty boy. Well, first tme out, returning a kick, he got hurt. Out for the season, achiles I think it was. And he did come back and play pretty well, that one, juggling interception he made in the Superbowl was amazing ... and then he got whipped by Angie Harmon ... and that's it for him! I'd let her whip me too!
SoloMatisse 0 Posted April 30, 2006 I dont think its fair to compare your guy to Steve Smith, but I do like his ability and quickness, and think he'll be a great player for the Gmen in a year or two. This kid is like his playmaking brother, and I think you are going to love having him on your favorite team. A steal at his draft slot, imo.
mdubz 0 Posted April 30, 2006 i wouldn't go as far as saying he'll be steve smith, but i'm really pleased getting him in the 2nd round because a lot of experts though he had first round talent.
