Keeper decision very clouded

Hey I know this is more for the Help Board... but its the offseason.

 

Plus I think my sittuation could be a good topic of conversation.

 

I need to pick 2 keepers for my Kepper league to carry over for next year

 

One WR = Between Randy Moss and Larry Fitz

On RB = Between Dom Davis and S. Jackson

 

All of these guys have potential to be top studs or potential duds

 

1) Moss - If healthy #1... IF healthy

2) Fitz - yourn emerging WR, but with Edge can they possibly throw as much as last year

3) Dom Davis - New Coach and also has touble staying healthy

4) Steven Jackson - new coach and Faulk still lingers

 

What are your thoughts on these guys and who would you pick if the decision was right now (thank god its not)

i'd definitely keep sjax. faulk isn't much of a factor and he still might/should retire. martz and his rb-unfriendly offense is gone and it appears the new regime is dedicated to improving the defense which often translates into more running game success. i'm not as familiar with the texans situation but am a little leary of a gl vulture or some kind of committee.

 

as far as the recievers go, it's more of a toss-up. i think i'd probably go with fitz though. he's not a slam dunk though. i agree they can't throw as much as last year and is he or boldin the #1? that being said, i have concerns that randy's best days might be behind him. not only the injury issues, but i'm not sure that he's the same player on grass that he is/was on carpet. in his hayday, it was deep bomb after deep bomb. now, if he's lost a step, db's can keep up with him better and they know he wants to go deep so the safeties should always be taking that away which could help the team by him drawing coverage but hurt his own stats. he'll always be a good redzone target on the fade routes so he should always have decent td #'s. even if he is double covered, he is very good at coming down with jump balls. it just depends how often his qb will throw it up for grabs.

 

i think i'd go with fitz mainly because of his youth and lack of recent injuries.

fitz and stephen jax....i dont trust brooks to get moss the ball...and plus i dont trust moss to stay healthy. with martz out of st louis, i think stephen jackson will finally be getting his carries.dom davis doesnt have a great o-line like s-jax does, and also davis is always in street clothes with an injury. fitz i: s young and in a great offensive system.

 

Go with: Stephen Jackson and Larry Fitz.
