Money Ball 0 Posted June 11, 2006 What are your thoughts on top QBs this year? Who will rise or fall? Steve McNair--IDK if he has that much left in the tank. But I think for atleast this year[or 1/3 of it] he can make RAVENS a contender in the AFC North. I thought their defense would be great but I'm willing to forget about last year. I wonder if he can manage this club to atleast 10 wins this year. YES Kurt Warner--I'm not excited about him this year[or any year]. Has some receivers, might throw late INTs or fumble. Too much risk IMO. I would pass on him, probably will be a good fantasy pick though. NO Drew Brees--Might have declined numbers? I think that might be safe to say, as far as I'm concerned NO should run the ball 30-40 times each game. And let Brees manage, when they need to throw. Things are looking good for them. I wouldnt take him in fantasy football but in real life I think he's well on his way to another good year YES Jon Kitna--IDK, he has some offensive weapons to work with, he can probably manage a game. He's a question mark, I've seen him manage a 9-7 near playoff CIN team before C. Palmer took over. But I just don't know about DET and thie QB history. I mean come on, he probably won't win any extra games for them when they need big throws. NO
TIKI-BARBERS-BARBER 0 Posted June 12, 2006 I like Warner out of the bunch with the addition of Edge being there. Mcnair will have some good games with throwing to Mason again also he likes to throw to his te and Heap is one of the best. Problem with Mcnair is I don't see him lasting the year and will be out at some point with a injury.
Duffman 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Out of the guys you have listed I like Warner. Edge will give him a boost and Fitz and Boldin will do him well. It's just a question of health for Warner now. Can he take a 16 week pounding and possibly even more if they make the playoffs. Wow......playoffs........Arizona......... in the same sentence .
Savage Beast 1 Posted June 12, 2006 I like Warner out of the bunch with the addition of Edge being there. The only thing keeping Warner from being a fantasy stud QB in Arizona is his shaky health. A healthy Warner is a top 10 fantasy QB in Arizona.
steelerblitz 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Im another one on the Warner bandwagon out of that bunch that you have listed there. If Warner can stay upright and healthy he will be the best of the bunch. With those wrs, a supposed two TE set that contains Pope in it and Edge running the ball........Warner should have some time. Arizona may actually put up some FF numbers this season from the qb, rb, and wr position this year. Now Arizona and playoffs.....only time will tell there. TIKI-BARBERS-BARBER 0 Posted June 12, 2006 I think we all agree on Warner and health is his biggest issue. If he can stay healthy he easily will be a top ten fantasy qb this year. As for Arizona players have a good fantasy year lets not forget my boy Rackers.
Parja 0 Posted June 12, 2006 The only thing keeping Warner from being a fantasy stud QB in Arizona is his shaky health. Well, that and a questionable O-line.
