chiokie 0 Posted July 27, 2006 I am in a three player keeper league. I am keeping Tomlinson and Steve Smith (Carolina). My last keeper will be one of these three: Rudi Johnson, Randy Moss or Antonio Gates. Any suggestions?
C4NT 0 Posted July 27, 2006 My first inclination would be to keep Rudi. That way you have LT and Rudi as your core and a good start at WR. Moss and Gates are both studs, but both Oakland and San Diego have QB issues (so does Cincinnati for that matter). Another thing to consider is, do you want both Gates and LT? I know it sounds great, but every time Gates scores a TD LT does not, and vice versa. I would take Rudi and then look for another couple of WR’s in the early rounds and a quality back-up/bye week RB. Then target a solid TE between rounds 8 and 10 (Stevens, Crumpler, Miller, etc.) Do you loose the spot in which they were drafted last year? This will also help you decide on values you should assign to each player.
