Tripenny 0 Posted July 29, 2006 FROM THE FFTOC WEBSITE: "FFTOC Founder - Greg Alan I’ve often been asked how FFTOC style play came to be. If you’re looking for a sentimental tale with colorful antidotes, you might be disappointed." I want an antidote to a worldwide e-mail that misspells the word anecdote and isn't a typographical error . . . OK, rip me. I know you all will, but this isn't just one of us sending in a simple post. The guy wants our coin, and I guess I think he should try a little harder to get the freaking language correct . . . And I'd feel like a nitpicker more, but 50% of you will pull up his site because of my stupid post.

IndyTom 0 Posted July 30, 2006 "Before covering the NFL full time, Greg had a distinguished 17-year career in industry. He pioneered a number of analysis and statistical measurement methods now used by a number of Fortune-100 companies. Greg has held various positions for both the largest and second largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Directing a staff of 40+, Greg has overseen Marketing Analysis, Global Forecasting, Information Technology and Decision Support Systems. Greg is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University." ....and he left it all for the riches of determining starting lineups for fantyasy football. I smell BS. Greg Alan 0 Posted July 30, 2006 Page looks okay to me.... http://fftoc.com/about.php (good catch). My old job? After about 18-years in that industry, actually it was time for a change. No regrets here. For over six years now I’ve been working with some awesome people all around the NFL and living my dream – helping run two fantasy sites both of which leverage database and decision support technology. I’m not complaining. My typo and old Rx career aside, no comments on this one guys…??? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=216163 FFTOC The best way to crown a champion? The fairest format? Payouts that allow the best managers to consistently win more money than they put up? Regards, Greg
