FBH ** 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Don't make that decision now, you have no idea who will be available at that time. If you suspect that a player that you want may be available at the later pick, it may benefit you to trade down. But to make the trade now, without knowing how the draft is playing out is a mistake. Just to let you know I am actually a fan of trading down if I can still get the player that I would like to get, but would not trade down just to trade down. I would discuss (and have done this in my league) the possibility of the trade with the other owners, but don't finalize the deal until you know that you can still get the player that you want at the position you would be trading into.
