kiki 0 Posted August 10, 2006 20 player Dynasty league... 6pt TD 1pt 10yds rush/rec stard 1rb, 3wr, 1flex (so I could start 4 wr's if need be) I was offerd TO for my DD, here's a few key players from my roster: RB - L. Jordan, JJ, MBIII, and a bunch of backups Moore, Bennett, Fason, etc WR - C. Johnson, Burress, Driver Do the trade? Both could be studs or non factors in '06 (TO cancer, DD knee) ... I dunno
Cuse9 129 Posted August 10, 2006 You get Owens for Davis......Yes take it and be happy! You have decent backs in Jordan and Jones (plus Barber). Davis is always getting nicked up anyway. Owens may only have 4-5 years left....if he opts to play that long, but if he keeps his head on straight, you have the best wr in the game! Do the deal!!! kiki 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Anyone Else have opinions on this? I know DD is getting dogged in the rankings right now, but he played through the pain in his knee last year untill Hou had no chance at the playoffs... in Kub's system he could be huge if he sucks it up. TO on the other hand can win you some games by himself or sit out half the season with 'tude problems... I'm not as down on DD as most so this is a tough decision for me. HELP A BROTHA OUT! ellisonb11 0 Posted August 11, 2006 id take TO and run with it....WRs are more valuable, and u have plenty of depth at RB
kiki 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Thanks for the input... I accepted the offer and now I'll be taking 5 Mottin's every moring because TO and all his baggage is mine! One more question? Who do you think will emerge if DD can't play? I have A. Smith and W. Lundy but can't get the owner of morency to give 'em up (offered Bennett). Should I look to trade away my 2 remaining Hou RB's or should I hold onto them and hope or a couple of quality starts during the season? Tks for you opinions!!!!!!
