Football Fan 20 2 Posted August 16, 2006 Regualar Yahoo public league. I know that my team has pretty much zero depth. Does anyone see that I could use for trade bait maybe to get a better backup RB or a top WR. I lose Portis and R. Brown both in week 8 (I also lose Betts but he won't last if Portis is ok). Let me know what you think you fantasy minds. Starting Lineup QB Brunell WR Wayne WR Burress WR Houshmandzadah RB Portis RB R. Brown TE Miller K Graham DEF New England Bench QB Bledsoe RB C. Taylor RB Betts WR Glenn TE Clark DEF Miami
phuynh 0 Posted August 16, 2006 package portis and betts together after portis gets better for a first round back. I think taylor's going to surprise you this year.
carmo911 2 Posted August 16, 2006 Agree with moving Portis and betts. But also Start Bledsoe ahead of Brunell.
Football Fan 20 2 Posted August 17, 2006 Well who are you talking about looking for? I know I won't be able to get LT, LJ, or SA for them. Do I wanna go for an sjax or rudi?
k9tofive 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Not sure why you would trade Portis/Betts - their value is LOW right now. Plus, I don't think it is necessary. The depth is not that bad. I like Taylor ALOT and he will be a FINE fill in not only during week 8 but also if Portis misses any time and you have reservations playing Betts (which you shouldn't). WRs are good with some nice upside: Wayne could take over Harrison as WR #1 in Indy as far as Yds go. I think MH will still be goal line option for Peyton though. Miller is a good pick. TJH can be a good WR2, but him and Plex are prob both WR3s. I would take this team into the season and see what happens. Don't let people devalue Portis/Betts: that is a 1300yd+10TD combo - and it was good you handcuffed them.
