Foster/DWilliams or Benson/TJones or JLewis or Dillon/Maroney?

Recommended Posts

I am in a keeper league where you can keep 3 players. My keepers are RBrown, RWayne, and Boldin. I will have the 5th, 11th, and 33rd picks overall. I pretty much have to take RBs with the 5 and 11. The RBs that will be available to me will probably be: KJones, DFoster, WDunn, FGore, JLewis, CTaylor, AGreen, CDillon, CBenson, and all of the RB rookies except for Bush.

I am leaning towards JLewis at the 5, and then the best value that falls to 11. I am wondering if it would be smart to just lock in a running game with the 5 and 11 to be conservative, even if it is a reach? Example: take DFoster and then DWilliams, or take CBenson and then TJones, or take CDillon and then Maroney. This way I cover some risk, and also invest in the young players for next season.

Also, how do you guys compare the DFoster/DWilliams, CBenson/TJones, and CDillon/Maroney situations? Can DWilliams run the inside? The sports media always describe DWilliams' speed as 'electrifying', however he runs a 4.55. I want to believe in Benson, and there is tons of upside if TJones gets traded (if he goes to the Colts or to the Broncos he will skyrocket to a top 5 pick in my opinion). Maroney doesn't have many moves, but he seems surprisingly hard to wrap up. He has long legs, and has an upright style of running - I am worried that this will make him prone to leg injuries.

There are a lot of topics brought up on this one, guys. Enjoy.
